I've just remembered another reason I wasn't so keen on Portugal last year...they dislike dogs even more than Spain.

We are in faro now and walked along to a park as it looks like it has a pond and lots of shelter only to find massive signs on every entrance banning dogs.....

They let brats in though that are running around through flower beds and climbing trees etc ... but dogs aren't welcome.

I've kinda the view that if my dogs aren't welcome neither am I.....so despite all the adds Portugal is currently flooding Facebook with saying Brits are welcome in Portugal etc.....their actions say otherwise considering we are a nation of animal lovers.

Dont think its dogs that are the problem,,its irresponsible owners everywhere that get dogs banned..plus there are far to many dogs. Think its a fashion accessory now with many owners who know absolutely nothing about how to look after and train a dog.BUSBY

Its not a children's play park it's a park and gardens....I'm pretty sure they don't want the children running through the flower beds but they are while their parents sit getting pissed letting them do as they like.

Same with the beaches where they humans leave all their crap behind them......

The dogs dont ruin parks and beaches. Humans ruin parks and beaches.

They don't deserve the planet...they just feck it up

The thing I laugh at is poo is a natural waste product that doesn't harm the environment

I'm pleased to say the not so new rule has worked out fine ....they haven't slept on the bed once since I made it which is a while now Milo has a seagrass Matt he sleeps on the floor and jade sleeps on the passenger seat on a Matt.....That's where they've chosen now

I'm not sure I believe that

Dogs are better treated and spoiled rotten in the UK.....many are rescued from countries like Spain and Portugal and greece etc .......the place I adopted jade and Milo from alone sends loads to the UK and they are majority mongrels
