Tam n pups winter trip 2022

Sorry to hear that Tam. In some areas, there is a home nursing team. My Mum was treated with IV antibiotics by nurses coming into her home. It kept her out of hospital with all the negative effects of that. Might be worth a conversation with the surgery or District Nurse service.
My Mum has MS related dementia snd confusion, and really struggles in an unfamiliar environment so this service was invaluable. It was also amusing seeing her light fitting used as a drip stand!

I hope your Mum improves quickly.

Karen

Thanks , I will pass on your well wishes

Hopefully they do the mri scan today and then if she needs antibiotics again she can do it at home. If she spends more than a couple of days in hospital her eating and mobility just drops way down and the whole scenario starts again .

Hope your mum gets better quickly and has a very short stay in hospital. I know exactly how your feeling stay strong

Hope all goes well for you and your mum today Tam.
We’ve all been there one way or another so can fully empathise! 🤞

Sorry to hear about your Mum Tam. Hope she doesn't have to stay in hospital too long. Doubtless she'd much rather be at home.

Best wishes to you both.

She's had her mri scan this morning thankfully, don't know results yet . She sent me a photo of her lunch ...she's not impressed lol.

No idea what it's supposed to be ..

Sister is heading through there now with some supplies.

Meanwhile I'm working on the van. This lining carpet is an absolute #£&%@ to work with ...my fingers are a mess. But it's looking not too bad. To be honest once the cupboards and cushions are back in there's not much of it left that's seen.

I'm starting to rebuild this side now . I'd like to get that side all finished today then I need to strip the units off the other side to make it match

And that's the other side now stripped out ready to be covered.

There is signs that water has got in this side too but thankfully the wall is still solid and nothing like the issues there were on the other side. But the screws I took out were rusty and not really gripping well. Hopefully now I've sealed all the windows and seals that won't get any worse.
