No just had me start it up but never even looked under the bonnet or underneath it. Not sure they were genuine , just think it's a Saturday boredom thing ..let's go and look at vans we can't afford.

I remember doing it in my 20's ...I spent hours in burstner Elegance vans in Erroll motorhomes lol .

I know what you mean I used to call them family outings, a free day out. At least they didn't bring their kids and dogs

I've got the guy I bought the vario from texting me wanting to buy it back , says he'll give me back what I paid plus my costs etc and come pick it up.


Not sure what to do .

It's because it's a good van . I've told him I'll think about it but I'm still unsure what i want to do past selling this one

Tell him he will have to wait a while, quite a while, for the diet you put the Vario on to get down to the target weight that was on the dodgy V5 he sold it with.

I'll have to think about it because one half of me wants to build it the other half thinks It might not be big enough and I could buy that vario horsebox with the money lol

The Vario is in pretty good shape, aesthetically good and now with the new MOT its usable as it is...well nearly if you nick some solar & batts off the Euro Mobile, just buy the SH 3 way fridge off Smiffy to replace the 240V in the big yin.
Maybe one trip out to Camp Quirky is all you need to convince you of the Vario Self build, Wissel will help out on the new interior, & we all know LennyHB cant wait to get stuck into it!
Just get it down to Lancing before his new van comes in August, after that he will be too busy modding his new toy.

I thought you got the Vario for a good price, no point letting it go for the same price (plust costs), it's prime time for van sales now .
If it were August and my pension lump sum had arrived in my account I might have made you a better offer for it
