This vet is not as good as the last one , think I should have just used the one in nerja after all. Phoned again this morning to see if they had heard from the lab yet and just keep getting told it takes 3 weeks , despite the last one verbally informing me after only 9 days and the one in nerja did the Same with the couple off Instagram.

They said they'd phone lab and ask and they'd email me .


So I just got this email

I don't think they phoned .

There's no way that the lab has not tested that blood yet.

Can't believe in 2023 it takes 3 weeks for a blood test result.




And then you get the other extreme. I've just been doing my shopping in mercadona, I was in there 25 minutes max . Came out to van and some dickhead has stuck a big sticker on my passenger window saying the carpark is for customers only . He rode off on a motorbike and I swear if I see him on the way out of this carpark I'm gonna beat him round the helmet with Lucille

It's been a day for arseholes .

First the vet, then the idiot at mercadona and now the police giving me grief for being on the beach with my dogs in malaga. 2 of them on motorbikes , he says no dogs on beach or I give you a ticket. I said you better get off your bike then as there's at least 20 people with dogs on that beach and pointed to 3 I could see with ease . He then switched to robot mode where he just kept repeating himself , I just shook my head and walked off. I can only assume they have no real work to do

As I got further along there's 2 other ones sat outside a police 4x4 drinking coffee and eying up the local talent.

I attempted to find somewhere new to park today , drove from torremolinos back up to torre del mar , checked out 6 different spots all were jam packed with Dutch and Germans so I gave up and I'm back in malaga. Getting bored now

We had a similar bellend problem. Charlie the Labradoodle has to shit like every other organism on the planet. But a Spanish gent was shouting before the shit hit the floor! I consider myself the fastest pooh bag draw in the West. But he really pissed me off.

The laugh being very few of the Spanish pick up after their dogs. I'm going to have to start feeding mine food dye so I can identify theirs among the other shit surrounding it.

Actually in Malaga I am sure they introduced a dna test which is supposed to be required for every dog so they can check & fine those who don't pick up.

Too true, we've seen more of it on the floor here then any other country we've visited. Thankfully we haven't had any nasty flip flop moments. Otherwise I'll have to get my own Lucille.

When I was last walking my dog in Spanish towns I used to carry a disinfectant spray and wipes to clean the pavement after him (edited to say for the poo not the pee!)

Judging by the amount of dog shit around they obviously abandoned that idea. Not surprising really considering it costs them €18 per poo to have it anaylised.

And we are back to torremolinos, malaga centre is lovely , but the available parking places in malaga really are not nice, dog shit , rubbish and used condoms ( yes the Spanish take their girls/boys to classy shitholes for sex ) everywhere so we went back to torremol where its a lot lot cleaner. I've managed to find a different spot again on the seafront , row of 7 vans but nose to tail rather than side by side so I've a nice view of the beach from my lounge etc. There's a marathon on here on Sunday

I've ran out of soup from Scotland, so I thought I'd try a carton from mercadona.... well its basically chicken flavoured water with salt lol. You certainly couldn't get fat on it as the entire carton has a total of 52 calories lol

Ela is a strange dog , every morning after jade and milo have picked bits of food out their breakfast and not eaten it ela will come hoover them up. But she comes past them jumps up on the sofa and sits and stares at them , doesn't matter how many times I tell her to go get them she won't...instead she waits till I go in the cab or toilet then goes and gets them. And I've no idea why. She still randomly acts scared of me now and then too, maybe she'll never stop doing that

Milo seems to like getting comfy where he can make me uncomfy

It works fine when you have nice sunny days , but on dull days I'd only manage 4/5 max before I'd have to use the b2b to recharge that bank of batteries.

The other bank that runs all the original equipment and 12v supply is fantastic . That can last almost indefinitely off grid.

The fridge freezer is the main power drain. But at the same time it also means my gas usage is incredibly low.
