It's flipping uncomfortable, we did a desert trip just us and the guide sleeping under the stars in the Thar Desert.

We had a wonderful Camel ride in Morocco camped in a oasis we went to see the sun rise, it was beautiful as the sand turned pink.
Not so nice when you see the camels and donkeys hobbled, but a different culture than ours. You could be miles from anywhere in the High Atlas Mountains and someone would jump in the road waving a bag of Weed at you, so interesting but different and speed limits there mean speed limits and you will get caught they mark your tyre discreetly if you have been stopped again so they have more to fine you. A wonderful diverse country I would think we'll worth the effort of getting the pups sorted out to go.

Enjoying all your amazing photos.

I’ve done a camel trail too in Tunisia, I had to climb up while the camel was sitting and they strapped my wheelchair to another camel….🤣😎
I did one with my daughter and two grandchildren 3years and 17 months!! It was great that was Tunisia back in 2006/7.

I also spotted this little beauty on the way back from the 3 Kings last night . It's an old seat 124 ...there was a fiat model the same and the design plans for this car was sold to lada eventually and the lada riva was born from it in the 70's

Step away from the camel Tam, Three dogs is ok in the motorhome but a camel also is pushing it a bit.
Jackie has been warned I've heard rumours of the locals in Morocco buying women for camels ...I've told her if I get offered more than 3 she's being sold lol

I've been toying with a horsebox conversion , donkey , horse, camel ...maybe even a few chickens and a goat lol

I saw a Seat exactly the same as that yesterday at the beach in benicassim.
It was battered though! Couldn't quite make out what it was until up close .

We missed the parade last night , went out just as everyone had retired back to the bars  .
They put up a massive marquee in the town from which they were banging out music until 5.30 this morning! ...needless to say its like a ghost town out there this morn.

Mr Ginam got offered 40 camels for me in Egypt I panicked as I could see his mind ticking over, umm 40 camels, skeggy beach 10 quid a ride, 50 rides a day .......................

thank you for posting the photos Tam wish i had been viewing in the evening with a glass in my hand rather than now with a cold cuppa.

I got an excited phone call at work from my mum in 1995, she had won a car! There was me thinking BMW, maybe a Porsche, oh no, she was now the proud(?) Owner of a brand new Lada Riva!

She never drove it, put it up for sale and got about half the 3.5k list price 🤣😂

Spotted this stretched Lada in Cuba , must be a cut & shut. The fiat design was obviously a good one!

On our first Xmas in Spain we went to a parade at Cartagena. So much more spectacular than anything we do over here. Can't remember any camels though.
My dad hated camels. He drove tank transporters in the desert during the war and for some reason had to look after camels as well. He said they were dirty, smelly, bad tempered and spat at him.
Can you imagine; he was a cockney lad barely been out of London, probably didn't know where Egypt was, never seen a camel before. I don't think he was a fan of the idea that travel broadens your mind.
