If only we could send all the English that came up here and bought all the houses and ruins on the islands etc so that the folk that's families had lived there for years kids could t get houses on the island.

Dinnae start that one lol cause it's been English monarchs putting their greasy mitts all over Scotland since the 13th century lol

Remember the only good thing to come out of England is the road to Scotland.

Tam, you're missing the point, just like my wife who constantly rams on about the thieving English. We didn't buy all your houses and castles, the Scots sold them as they didn't want them! Same as Cornwall, Devon, Wales, etc. The locals were all too quick to make a fast buck selling unwanted property but now winge the families who stayed can't afford to buy anything. Whose fault is it really?

Wouldn't be surprised if Sturgeon gets her second vote for Scottish indepedance and then repossesses all the foreign owned property and hands it back to the penniless locals. Remind you of anywhere hmmm Zimbabwe, Rhodesia, Largs, Isle of Mull, etc.
