Not that im a regular on your thread tam , but do enjoy looking in from time to time at your photos ..
Hope you get back to it when your suspension is over..
In the meantime enjoy your adventure...

Tam..I know I would have been banned if I was braver..some right twits on here..but most are lovely...please come back..if only for advice for Jade
 
I think Tam will be back ,when his suspension is up he doesn't strike me as the type to have a hissy and sulk . hopefully he proves me right , if not , well ?

Tam’s log has been great to follow and IMO nothing has offended me - quite the opposite he has been fun to read. Perhaps those “offended” resent Tam’s popularity. You are a breath of fresh air Tam - come back soon!

Jim gave a detailed explanation, including quoting passages from their posts, and giving his reasons for the respective bans/suspensions. I agree with Jim's reasoning and decisions.

I had already written on another thread that I thought some of it was out of order.

I am personally pleased Tam has been banned. 1 week is not enough and should have been longer. :cautious:
I suffer from "Great wild camping spot jealously" :whistle: and "free lifestyle envy" and this will give my blood pressure time to recoup before he teases me again with his great pics. :rolleyes:;)
 
Please come back tam missing your journey and adventure and all the places we have all to see and all the wonderful pics :( .

Phew just seen 1 week ban and Tam knows the explanation so only a short visit hopefully Jade will get Tam back here with their travels & adventures.

I have to add I fully understand were @Jim was coming from as when a few people press the report button a automatic ban comes on until Jim can sort it out , then he has to take time out sorting through the different posts so not always possible to get an immediate message of why ban/suspension was put on.

I don't have anyone on my ignore list but sometimes you can see where it would be useful, in a ideal world everyone would agree with everyone else but that's not what life is like. No point in anyone loosing contact with friends real or virtual because one or two disagree just enjoy the friendships you have made through this great forum, as our late great friend Tootles who had the honour of being banned more than anyone it was always worth coming back.
I think this is the least moderated forum around but Jim is always fair and keeps it running with good humour and healthy debate.

I really hope we will be welcoming you back next week. along with the others when there bans run out and normal service can be resumed.

The forum is just as friendship is in the real world, some you gel with and know you are going to get on, others you don’t and pass them by without having to acknowledge them:)

Let's keep Tam's thread on page 1 so that when he comes back from his short visit to Coventry he'll see how popular it/he/Jade is and hopefully put the other sorry business to bed.

OK. . .Tam..hope you are reading all of this..people are going to effort to get you to relent/rethink and come back in what is it now 5/6 days time..Effort is only made when people want/expect a result..so don't get lonely just keep a diary and then bring us up to speed..you are clearly very popular on here so reward us with a return..take care

Having read that little snippet, so when in Coventry you can post but only @Jim sees it..... perhaps Jim can tell us once Coventry chucks them out do their post suddenly show up..?

I.e. they post everyday but we can’t see them but when un-banned we can see what they’ve been up to all last week..?

I’ll go and lie down now, (n) it is 28c here in Croatia now...:sun:

Just hoping Tam comes back. For a fairly new member he is a epic poster on here and gives everyone a great deal of pleasure.
I've met him a couple of times a really nice bloke shame he got wound up by other idots.

Please be aware that Tam , along with the other 2 is "banned" & has no access to the site whatsoever & is not even able to "read only" . None of them have been " Sent to Coventry" which is completely different .
 
I have also spent some time with Tam and found him a likeable level headed guy - IMO he was severely provoked by a fellow funster for no good reason on the "Hymer" thread and unfortunately has suffered a one week ban - hopefully he will return when he is good and ready!!
 
Sorry to burst in on the love fest here, but how can an internet forum debate with people who are effectively strangers "severely provoke" any normal person into making rude, personal and aggressive responses??? Some people just have to have the last word and I'm afraid that's their undoing :whistle:
