Bloody hell, we’ve just arrived in Patras, and sailing New Year’s Day to Crete, then off to schengen shuffle into Turkey, hopefully some sunshine, obviously it won’t be as dry or as warm as Morocco ,

Weather forecast keeps changing unfortunately ... yesterday it showed the next 5 or 6 days as pure sunshine 18 ,19° but now it shows a mix of sun and cloud today and a few others. Although theres no rain expected for the next week thankfully ....but its warmer than Scotland .ive only used my diesel heater twice since i entered greece a month ago

Maybe an explorer,he seems to have a pair of binoculors hanging round his neck.

I think that's the Greek flag, Blue and white with lots of stripes?

Lovely and sunny here now ....just been a walk with the dogs on my own for a change ....found a big grassy field i could let them run around in and practice ela's recall .... she did well and i think it helps not having the distraction and interference . Jackie can't seem to resist calling her no matter how many times ive asked her not to .... I appreciate she tries to help but ela needs to know who her master is.

Anyway they had a good run around ......what i can't believe is the frequency and amount this dog poops...its unreal ,at least 4 or 5 times on a morning walk and each is about 3 times the amount jade ever does.

Speaking of poop ....theres not many have a lovely view like this whilst moving their bowels

With the weather you are getting & when we went in Sept/Oct 2016 when they had the worst storms for a 100 years. I think I'm going off Greece.

The only way to reduce the poop size is to feed as high meat content vs carbs as possible. When Beech was on a raw meat diet it was very small. Not practical for us when travelling so she's on high quality grain free which is 60 to 70 percent meat and poos are 2 or 3 medium a day.

We only feed raw. But I've been testing this on Jazz and she's doing well with it. So will definitely be taking this away with me next year rather than taking up space in our freezer. You could stash a 3 month supply for one dog in very little space

You might have been unlucky because I have spent many years in Greece in Sept/Oct including this year and have not experience that sort of weather, but I was not there in 2016.

Well, it takes all sorts Tam! I never once imagined you sleeping with a tug toy under your pillow! NOW THAT IS KINKY!!!!!

I usually find a dog under mine in the wee small hours ...........

Did know until today that if your immunocompromised then you shouldn't feed your dog's raw food. As if they lick you they can pass on bacteria etc....

I did better than jackie who disappeared to bed around 9pm after consuming 2 full bottles of proseco , 5 stumpy beers and some greek brandy lol. She was nearly falling in the fire .

Im normally in bed around 11pm but i stayed up to be sociable ...i had 4 or 5 cans of cider thats all . I aint a big drinker
