Tam and Toby ~~ Hunting Zorba .....Take two.

I noticed on the video it was a bit jerky on the focus, I assume that was because it was loosing
signal momentarily due to the distance it was away from you
I also have noticed that on mine but more so on the phone screen rather than the footage

It wasn't so much the distance just very windy and signal blocked by the castle walls ...normally going higher improves the signal but in wind thats not adviseable

But yes as the signal goes the video jerks about

That was just the cache video from phone though so not great quality ...didnt bother downloading it from the drone which would be in HD and better quality

Had a walk along the beach this morning and we found this tiny abandoned chapel ....despite the door being broken off everything is still in it ...which is surprising.in the uk that would have been destroyed or set on fire ....the campsite toilets have all been smashed up and vandalised so you have to wonder ....are the vandals here god fearing? ...very strange tree too ....it apparently grows plastic chairs

Funny you should say that but i just stopped at an orange seller ...2 dozen oranges for €4

That should do me a bit

I think what i love about greece , Portugal and parts of spain is that couldn't give a stuff attitude , cars run around looking like scrap ...broken lights ,bits hanging off etc , folk ride 50 year old tractors to the shops, whole families on scooters even the dog , car breaks leave it in the garden and buy another , gardens are like scrap yards lol , folk wear what they like , health and safety is practically non exsisting but folk dont complain or try to sue councils and people, life is so much more relaxed ....

We brits have lost it really , everything has to be perfect , everyone needs the latest car , motorhome, phone etc etc
And are we happier for it?

Nope i dont think so

I feel more at home in these countries to be honest ....i think i fit in better ....i think you could be more content here

Thoughts like these, always reminds me of this little story:

An American investment banker was at the pier of a small coastal Greek village when a small boat with just one fisherman docked. Inside the small boat were several large yellowfin tuna. The American complimented the Greek on the quality of his fish and asked how long it took to catch them.

The Greek replied, “only a little while. The American then asked why didn’t he stay out longer and catch more fish? The Greek said he had enough to support his family’s immediate needs. The American then asked, “but what do you do with the rest of your time?”

The Greek fisherman said, “I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, take siestas with my wife, Maria, stroll into the village each evening where I sip wine, and play bouzouki with my fiends. I have a full and busy life.”

The American scoffed, “I am a Harvard MBA and could help you. You should spend more time fishing and with the proceeds, buy a bigger boat. With the proceeds from the bigger boat, you could buy several boats, eventually, you would have a fleet of fishing boats.

Instead of selling your catch to a middleman you would sell directly to the processor, eventually opening your own cannery. You would control the product, processing, and distribution. You would need to leave this small coastal fishing village and move to Athens, and eventually you will run your expanding enterprise.”

The Greek fisherman asked, “But, how long will this all take?”

To which the American replied, “15 – 20 years.”

“But what then?” Asked the Greek.

The American laughed and said, “That’s the best part. When the time is right you would announce an IPO and sell your company stock to the public and become very rich, you would make millions!”

“Millions – then what?”

The American said, “Then you would retire. Move to a small coastal fishing village where you would sleep late, fish a little, play with your kids, take siestas with your wife, stroll to the village in the evenings where you could sip wine and play your bouzouki with your friends.
