Well I've decided that if my test results haven't come through by noon tomorrow I'm moving on anyway .....the next place I'm headed is up in the hills and away from town etc so I won't be near anyone.

Despite needing some groceries as I've no fruit ,veg , bread etc left I will put shopping off till I have a definite result .
I'm on a service area at present so I will empty and fill tomorrow before moving

Some may not like it but to be honest as others have said I'm still quarantined whether in the same spot or not.

I expect the results to come through by then anyway but if not I'm offsky

You've been incredibly conscientious and you can do that whilst still continuing your journey that you've worked so hard for.

I can’t see the problem with moving, as you say, Tam, the app will let you know if & when, and you are isolating anyway! If you need food mask up and go shopping, it’s not like you are going out socialising!
We were amazed that when one comes back to UK from France etc. and have to quarantine you are allowed to go shopping once!

Two Lidl’s, each a mile away. One each side of the river. The one on ‘tother side is more pleasant walk. If we thought you were really stuck we’d happily nip back to do your shopping. We are still just down the river. Let us know, but I suspect you have already made your mind up

Ok ive done so and for the first half it sounded just crap then it burst into life becoming brilliant , I began to hear the music which was played by the VatersayBoys in Blackpool Tower. See if you can listen to them playing it, we had such a buzz that night. Its around 12min in I think. Wonder how many of us were super covid spreaders that night.

Well I couldn't get more socially distanced if I tried I've arrived at my new destination where I will stay tonight . I'm about 6km away from burg eltz at an isolated picnic stop

Nice view over the fields and what a handy backgarden lol

We will take a walk to the castle either later this afternoon or in the morning . I think it closes at 6pm so I might aim to get there just as it closes as I only want to see the outside ....less chance of seeing anyone around then

Still no sign of results ...decided I'd had enough . I could be waiting as long as quarantine time for them and I'm not doing it.
If I could speak German I'd be phoning ....then again I don't know who to phone either but it's 5 days since and that's ridiculous.

Hiked to the castle and back it's a nice walk through fields and forest ....the carpark at the castle was mobbed with around 200 cars and at least 10 motorhomes so I'm glad I parked where I did ...it's approx 6.8km each way from here to the castle

Unfortunately there were signs everywhere banning drones so once again I couldn't use that ...brother says you can take off a few hundred metres outside the banned area and fly over at 400 feet ....but didn't want to take the chance .
