Tam and Toby ~~ Hunting Zorba .....Take two.

Well, well, big brother must be watching!
An advert just popped up on my phone for "hang" drums/"tongue" drums like your friend was playing last week Tam. Apparently they go from about 5" up the way, complete with instructions for beginners!
There you go Tam,you could practise in the privacy of your van and have it perfected by the time you return home.😁
Im gonna buy one when i get home
Might need a bigger van

Another warm sunny day following a wet and stormy night .....im hoping that the weather continues like this as each day has been forecast for rain but it seems to rain mostly late evening or overnight.

I can live with that 24.5° outside at present and 28° in the camper

The sea is a tonic, I’m fortunate enough to live near the sea.. 4m to the Atlantic and 6m to the channel.... when I’m fed up or just bored I frequently go to watch the waves... just sitting there listening to the sound and the smell just seems to lift the spirits...

Last Friday In Edinburgh they had thunder snow , the roads were hectic , I was flying out of Edinburgh to Essex to pick up a new MH to replace the one that broke down same time as you !!
What are you buying this time?

Yeah I've always loved the sea .....i always said my dream was to retire somewhere coastal but now i prefer just to visit lots of different coasts.

It would seem with money comes bad luck!

Here's hoping this one is a good'un

money & luck have nothing to do with it BUT poor workmanship has everything to do with it , I worked f#####g hard to be able to live a better life , if I had a £1 for every lazy git that has said it’s alright for you !!! I would be a wealthy man

thanks , I hope this will be a good’un 🙏

Drove just a few miles today up in to tye hills above platsa the town i hiked to the other day ...parked on the site of an old church and above a replica of an ampitheatre .... stunning views and nice and windy for a spot of washing

I think the 2 English/ , Welsh wimmen are joining me later .....should have waited they might have done the washing 😁

Passed a fake old settlement that's being built on the drive up ...looks nice it will be cool when its finished

Does it have any history at all as a replica?
Dont think so ... there wasn't an old one here or anything they just built it here in 2014/16 from what i was told by a greek.

The old church dates back 900 years but even thats been extensively restored.

Passed a wee settlement on the road up thats modern and still being built but designed to look old and traditional with tower houses looking partially derelict etc ....the greeks are very good at faking stuff

Just heard from the older of the Frenchies Laurent and Virginie that they are heading home to france tomorrow thats a shame as id hoped to see them again at somepoint.

Sent them a message wishing them a good journey and Christmas etc
He replied in french ....this is what it translated too lol

So its a wet day today ....been raining since we got up ...took the dogs out for a little walk and was talking through the window to the two wimmen with the vw

Felt awkward as one had said you could come in for a coffee but theres not much room in here .... normally i would have responded by saying they could come in and join me for coffee in toby as theres plenty room ....but with this bloody virus you never know

So i didn't ...and i cant help but think they probably expected me to invite them in

Is it worth the risk ?

No, may not have it but could be carriers.
Yeah thats what i think too..

The last person other than me that was in my van was you back in September.

None of the folk i was parked up with since were in each others vans etc

Outside i think is fair enough but not comfortable with folk in the van at present ...
