Rally Swaffham Shindig (formally the Thetford Bash )

I have always tried to avoid such exposure
Perhaps paranoia but I do not want the local low life knowing where they can can find approx £3.000,000 worth of motor homes parked up with probably £10 - £15 grands worth of equipment left outside over night
Its not as if such localised publicity would gain us anything, apart from possibly giving me 30 seconds of fame :)
We could have a new game in the clubhouse…. Spot the scum bag and break his arms!

Fair enough, it was just a thought although I am sure such people are aware of our presence.
It was just a thought🤔,
I am having another one now, why did I come to Lincoln it's cold and now it's damping😥, still we had a good bike ride🚴 this afternoon, well it was good until Sue fell off, 😫 she is fine few scrapes and bruises, I blame Brella🤣.

Oh no! Hope Sue is ok. As long as she didn't fall off into the river. It's cold here too in Sunny Scunny. Think all the East coast is under cloud. Next week is looking good for Bridlington though.

Back to work for us today, what a blue Tuesday it was after such a fantastic weekend! Thanks Jaws for putting on such a great rallie AGAIN and to the wonderful marshalls doing yet again a fantastic job of organising us rowdy bunch 🤣
WOWZERS what an achievement raising that amount of money for such a great cause. I don't mind being outbid by Michael (hubby) for them wire brushes now 🤣
We had oh so much fun. You really do know how to make people feel welcome, thank you 😊 It was so lovely to see familiar faces and meet new ones. Apologies, we're still trying to get used to who is who and associating forum names with faces.
Just an update, Michael fell off during the ped racing. He's been to A&E today as complaining of a pain and turns out he's cracked 3 ribs and bruised his spleen. That's what you get for racing a ped in bloody flip flops 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you all once again for such a splendid time. Our son Brad absoloutly LOVES this rallie so can't wait for next year's. We have managed to book onto Stratford in a couple of weeks, hopefully see some of you there. Take care, Kay, Michael, Brad and Hugo (pur Frenchie) xxx

It's cloudy but still warm & dry in Swaffham! 😇

Not my Freds Poo ,he failed to turn up for the rally due to a statement about Tiks in the field .But we must have seen half a dozen dogs wandering around all weekend ,with no leads on .What else do people expect Jinny went back to the Moho Sunday night to get her phone and picked up poo by the steps to the field .Dont have a dog if you dont like picking poo up .

Not Sam's poo either. I always pick Sam's poo up and I even pick up left poo if picking Sams up at the same time. I got a telling off for putting poo in the bin. Naughty Brella😅.

Sorry to hear Michael hurt himself in the ped race. Cracked ribs are so painful. The riders were all such good sports to have a go.

Ouch! I hope Brad shares some of the giant coronation chocolate bar with him. 🍫
Wish Michael well from us.
…on the theme of denying responsibility for the poo, it wasn’t Rosie as she was left at home as she might be pregnant - fingers crossed 🤞

While I have sympathy with the injured rider, the chocolate was bought explicitly for children.

Mind you, I guess all the riders were big kids playing with toys!

So sad to miss the jollifications moho brake problems not done by garage. Severe letters going forth re having missed my holiday.
Well done John and crew seems everyone had a great time

WE had a good time as usual - - although Maxine the Motorhome has returned poorly
Fridge acting daft
Water tank had 3 leaks
TV broke on Friday
and lots of other niggling bits
Finally everything sorted except the TV which has gone away for repair

Oh yes the Water Gardens at Gooderstone is well worth a visit

Lolly passed on to EAAA :)
