RedFrame ( One of the protesters... Sorry I do not know who the other one was ! )

The other "Just Stop Oil" protestor was Brendan .

I did suggest to him that we set up a "Rent a Protestor" company, but he advised me that the market is swamped with unemployed volunteers.... :ROFLMAO:

Cheers

I'd like to echo all the thanks to everyone involved in organising the weekend and well done to all for raising a fantastic sum of money for the air ambulance.
And the same from me, now safely home, after a jump start for my van, to get me off the field this morning :Eeek:

Thanks John for putting together a brilliant weekend and thanks to the marshalls and helpers. Loved the ped racers, the Saturday afternoon hosted by Di and Barbara, the Rock Choir, the open mic session last night and most of all the money raised for the Air Ambulance.
Well done.

Nice one John and big thanks to everyone who donated contributed and worked their socks off to make it another successful and fun Swaffham meet.

We ditto all of the above comments.
It was a brilliant weekend, thanks to everyone involved, especially Jaws and his whole family.
Resulting in a fantastic donation to Air Ambulance

Where was the bloody air ambulance when I crashed into the lamppost whilst ped racing?
Seriously though, great meet, caught up with lots of lovely peeps, met some lovely new peeps, well organised, (perhaps a bin next time)(y) well done John and your lovely family, meanders, all the stewards, Richard and Gay, all the entertainers, quiz master, Uncle Tom Cobley, and nice to be associated with an event that raised so much for charity. See you all in a field sometime soon(y)

Apparently it was called by Jaws but they said something about the helicopter having a weight limit and for someone who hit the only lamppost in that area of the Rugby ground, they thought it was a 'cry for attention' and, maybe, not a 'real' injury?

Whatever could they have meant?

Why do you think I haven’t bought another motorbike  anyway I cut my leg and took the sole off my trainers cos I couldn’t get my feet on the pedals:( but it was good fun so….glad I had a crash hat on, sorry about the bent lamp post!:giggle:

I just had a thought, has anyone informed the local press, about the money that was raised? Not just for the Air Ambulance also Prostrate cancer.
Perhaps mentioning the welcome from the Rugby club.
Our small group, supported local shops and businesses, perhaps many in the town don't realise this.
I am sure those living close by would be very surprised.

I have always tried to avoid such exposure
Perhaps paranoia but I do not want the local low life knowing where they can can find approx £3.000,000 worth of motor homes parked up with probably £10 - £15 grands worth of equipment left outside over night
Its not as if such localised publicity would gain us anything, apart from possibly giving me 30 seconds of fame :-)
