After lunch, at whatever time it arrives, we have three cakes to share. Sadly, not homemade by Hilary, as there simply was not time between getting back from Newbury and leaving for here.

We slipped away earlier this morning. Sorry we didn't wander round to say goodbye, we know from experience that can take hours

Another fab meet at Swaffham. It was great to see old & new faces & many thanks to all those involved in running the meet. Your efforts are very much appreciated.

If you don't want to bring plates,it will be served in one of these. However, disposal is then your problem.

Knives and forks are not available. Please queue from the main doors by the toilets. Food will be served by the lovely Karen and Georgie through the serving hat by the bar. You can then sit inside if there is any space, eat outside through the door by the bar, or take it back to your van.

Choice of beef or turkey.

We thought that the meal was good given the circumstances under which it was prepared and served. They fell over backwards to help with veggie option. £10 bargain.

Personally, I thought the smoked salmon was a bit salty and the Tarte aux Pommes was a little underdone. But the Beef and Turkey were great…!
