Sudden Voltage Drop when I turn the inverter on (3 Viewers)

Found the culprit - blown fuse coming off the +ve terminal of the battery.

I was sure I checked the first time around but ended up going back around again today to check all fuses and connections again.

Glad to hear it was something simple in the end. I only have a small inverter but I never turn it on with a load plugged into it, i always turn the inverter on before plugging anything in and turning it on.

That fuse looks a bit bent. Was it in a holder or loose? Also when you tighten the nut, it helps to have a spring washer under the nut, when the nut spins does not bite on the fuse and try to twist it. They are fragile and is a no no without a holder.

It was in a holder. But it wasn't done up tightly.
I thought it looked a bit bent.
Good idea on the washer - I'll get that sorted.

We had the electrics installed by a company, so I'm still learning as I go with it.
