hi all
Looking for a convenient place to stay for a night in Bath wild or site thats easy walk to city center
any recommendations?

Just in case anyone is still interested, the Landsdown park & ride does seem to allow overnight parking (we live in Bath). There is a fee, though :

If you don’t catch the bus:
People parking at the Park & Ride but not catching the bus will have to pay £1 for up to 3 hours parking, or £2 for parking up to 23:59 on the same day. Payments for parking at Lansdown Park & Ride must be made online on the MiPermit website or via the MiPermit app.

Note that website is the one linked to from the gov. website (https://beta.bathnes.gov.uk/search/node?keys=park+&+ride)

If you approach Landsdown from the A46 (from the general M4 area) then you will not go through Bath itself and therefore won't go into the clean air zone.

We are travelling from Stratford upon Avon.
I put my reg in for gov charge to see price and it comes up as an heavy goods vehicle should it not say motorhome?
I believe you can pre register with Bath Council and if over 3500kg you can get through for £9. Have a look on their website

Yes, and I think if you are categorised as Euro 6 you are exempt, but I would verify that independently - don't take my word for it!

The screenshot below suggests that Euro 1-5 for diesel must pay, but maybe euro 6 doesn't have to?

Correct. I live nearby but did not register my Hymer (3900 kgs) as had no need to take it into the charge zone. It shows in the system as Private heavy goods, so £100 per day!

My Sunlight pvc (33000kgs) is Euro 6 and the online system says no charge.

My 2021 Fleurette Wincester has been upgraded to 4400kg but the council website still shows it as exempt. Not sure what to do in that case.

Nor me. You could try and ask them. No idea if there is any single person in this, or any other governmental position, who would know though.
