The room obviously could not support additional capacity so why keep us in suspense like this Jim?
 
I suspect this has nothing to do with the size of the room and more to do with Jim getting approval from the organisers to increase the limit already imposed on his allocation.
 
I just haven't had time to see the rally area or room yet, whenever I'm passing, the guy I need to see is not around. I am visiting this week, so I'll know where we are and if we can accommodate any more.

Based on the number of funsters who have asked to go on the reserve list we are at number 20!!! but I can't see your your request? I reckon Mr Porky has first grabs:giggle:

If you look back carefully, I think the last person that tried to get the original list was old-mo ?:unsure:

Im happy with what ever Jim decides. It was him who said there was no reserve list in post 211 hence my request after a cancellation. Simples!

You are absolutely correct Phil, ie, Jim did say that there wasn't a reserve list, however, several folks have shown an interest in attending since the Rally became full, hoping to be next in line, should the booking open up again. Fingers crossed that Jim has been able to secure extra pitch space to accommodate all who wish to attend, including yourself and Mena. (y)

Jim Hi I'm sorry we are going to have to cancel as Mike has had the date for his hip replacement which is the 22nd of April we wish you a very successful rally our best wishes Mike & Jan Beacons .

I dont believe there Is a list, I would imagine it would be on a first come first served basis if new positions become available.
We would love to attend but because of the uncertainty we have made plans to meet up with friends in manchester that weekend.

There seems to be a lot of people on this thread think there is some sort of list and marking me as back of the que, I have been trying since Sept and I believe there are no such lists as stated by Jim so I am entitled to try for any cancellations or further availibility that may arise as I believe as stated it will be first come first searve ???????

It's unfortunate that Jim has chosen not to manage a reserve list and it proves a point that members well know that there will be people who will not be able to attend for numerous reasons leaving gaps in the original list. If Jim eventually clarifies the extra places possibility added to the cancelled places it will be interesting to see how Jim will fill them. It's a pity that mitzimad 's advice of starting a reserve list in September was not taken up. Only three weeks left!

There isn't a reserve list to manage. I've never mentioned a reserve list. The rally is full and closed. There might be some places available and I will let people know as soon as I can.

The site manager cancelled me last week and the week before but I now have a firm appointment for Wednesday midday and we will know where we are. If we can take more

I don't do reserve lists. However, if we have some spaces, I will look at this thread and contact those who have expressed an early interest in attending. That will take me 10 minutes. Adding and removing people from a long list for months on end will have taken me hours.

Rest assured, I'll see to it that the rally will be full. (y)

Anyone could have started and maintained a reserve list, didnt have to be Jim, I could of but couldn’t be arsed, mitzimad could of, or even you could of If you felt it was needed.
