Hi guys

As many of you know, my youngest son is going out to Australia next March at the grand old age of.....10

This is an educational visit, my eldest went over 3 years ago at the same out, it was an amazing experience.

Last time we managed to get funding from companies , council etc but because of cutbacks we are anable to do that this time.

I have saved to be able to send Ben but would love him to have the same experiences that Dan had so I have decided to try and raise some money myself

I am planning to sell yummy cakes at the meet, and maybe do an auction, can you let me know what you think, and ifyou would be interested... no pressure by all means

Im sure you wont be Mark. Most dressed up last year .
We did for the evening , but didnt go into Whitby in our gear. We thought we might upset genuine Goths in our pretend gear. But there were some very strange and wonderful creations walking about.
We wished we had put our stuff on.

We are going for it this time
If the kids dont want to be seen with us , they can stay back at the motorhome:thumb:

Though i hope its better weather for the weekend , than it is now.
Nothing worse than a drizzly day as far as Goths go.
Everything flops
At least we are on tarmac , not a boggy field this time.

PS shame you cant make it Andy. Remember theres one later on in the year.

Whitby Gothic spring meet

Hello to all, getting close now....

Just a few words to make things run smoothly, I hope.....

The gates to; West cliff primary school, Church Square, YO21 3EG. will be opened for us at 4pm on the Friday, so please do not turn up much earlier than this or we will just be blocking the road for the parents picking up young ones....

On arrival, myself, Leanne or Paul will happily extract £14 from you for the pleasure of our company for the weekend. (to keep things moving quickly, please have this ready and exact money please as my brain will have shut down for its weekend break, thank you).

Please make us aware if you will need to leave early on Sunday, as the carpark we will be staying on is going to be cosy, we will have to try and keep you close to the exit.

The Jacobs Table will be in the school dining room and should be ready for 1pm, (please).
Then after lunch we will get ready for the trip to town.
There will be a prize for best dressed Goth/Best costume.

If any one wants to bring any odd bits to sell that is fine.

We will all have to be off the site by about 4pm on the Sunday, as this is when the gates will get locked.

Have a splendid weekend, looking forward to meeting up with you all.
