Are you really buying the Guvnor for under €3?
If you are, it is not the one sold in the UK.

I think from the video it was from Mercadona, not from the UK.

Yes I know. But there seems to be more than one version of "The Guvnor" and they vary in quality as well as price .. the one you buy in Mercadona is (I suspect) very downmarket compared to the UK version.

There could be 5 categories of a wine in Spain, although in this case I doubt it. Joven, Roble, Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva. Remember wine is cheaper in Spain than the UK.

I do like my wine and we have a bottle a day; 'A meal without wine is like a day without sun'. This is France so wine is affordable, not cheap. However, in Spain my wine buying preferances, apart from Rioja, is to go by the artwork on the label, to be honest have not had many bad buys.

I will add the Guv'nor to our next purchase, the label ticks all the right boxes'.
