France on Wednesday declared a mandatory quarantine period for people coming from Britain, due to the increasing prevalence there of a highly contagious coronavirus variant first detected in India.

BBC news said a 7 day quarantine period, so nothing really appears to have changed as this is what was stated on the Gov UK website for UK citizens entering France from the UK. There is another thread running on this subject so best looking at that one for the latest misleading information from members

Just a quick update
We left Auzon at 6ish and arrived at our place in Catalonia at about 13:00 ish. I can’t be anymore specific than that because we are now on Spanish time
No stops ... no checks anywhere including the border and at tolls.
We may have been lucky but after a few extra checks at Folkestone the journey was great - fast and incident free
