I end up using my phone quite a bit when I'm on the forum and wondered if it's possible to show post numbers on threads please @Jim ?

Not really a problem on the shorter threads but when you're trying to keep stuff updated on the meet threads it's a bit of a pain.

Cheers

They don't show if you're using a phone to view.

Never noticed it before missing on phone but you're right!:notworthy2:

When we make a site responsive to all devices its not just a matter of shrinking it, that would not work, stuff has to be omitted. But in landscape mode you will see post numbers

Thanks(y) never thought to try that:doh:

Turn your phone 90 deg and view in landscape and you will see all the info.

Well now I've learned what a post number is and more importantly where to find it I can go off to bed and sleep easier. ( sweet 16 )

I always use my phone in landscape mode, easier for my old eyes, bigger text. Bigger pictures.

I must have a Nokia 1011 :(

not that I use my phone for much, apart from calls, but it doesn't seem to do landscape o_O

It is a Nokia something because it says Nokia above the screen :):)

Have got screen rotation turned off?

great question, I am more than slightly impressed that I found a way into the settings menu, but now still confused

bit of double negative here

heading - screen rotation

rotation lock - off

not really sure whether that means it will rotate or not, sounds like it should (y)

If Android swipe down from the top if the screen to see the basic setting page and if the auto rotate is greyed out touch it to turn on.

David, just try it;), the length of time it took to type your post you could have tried it & found out either way:LOL:

Thanks Lenny, have done as suggested by my second wife (y)(y)

there are some really small faint words on my screen to confirm that

when screenlock is on, rotation is off

mine is set to off (y)(y)

Landscape? Pfft. Who looks in landscape? :D2

I do for forum stuff and using a IPhone 6 plus, I still need my glasses.

Whereas, when I go target shooting with No.2 son he can tell where I am hitting at several hundreds of yards, indeed, he can see the air disturbance of the projectile in flight. But then I say to him, you might have better eyesight than me, but remember it was me (I hope) who made it. :Eeek: :)
