We might see if we can get over there once all the kids are back at school. I'm guessing it could be very busy when there on holiday. :Eeek:And at bank holidays:party2:
I'm liking the fact that there's no generators allowed too.
Nice and peaceful. Plenty room to get away from everyone.
Looks just like our cup of tea.

No generators allowed Ralph-n-Bev?

We were there this bank holiday weekend just gone, and there were about 4 or 5 motorhomes in a group just across from the main toilet block, one of them running a generator.
It was reasonably quiet i must admit, but i did wonder how they got away with it?

I did spot a few motorhomes moving around alot trying to get a spot out of the wind but we stuck it out in the one spot until the weather cleared up. Monday was loads better.

See if you can spot where we was..

I can just see you peeking over the brow of the hill. Nice spot.
I supose if it's not busy and no one complains , someone will always try their luck. But if it actually says no generators , it should mean no generators.
If it was far enough away for me not to hear then it wouldn't be a problem. Next to my van, a different matter.

Yes i think we saw your van where you harbour side we were there too
l posted on shell rally thread as you did
re group of vans with gennys yes we moved around the island parking in a different spot each night a bit of fun and to get out
the wind really enjoyed our shelves looking
forward to going there again soon

Changed my mind re where you pitched

Yes, seemed a good idea at the time, until bedtime on the Saturday night.... thought I was going to be staring up at the sky-minus the roof... wind was a bit strong :-)

I'll definately do more reconassonce on some of the more shielded spots :-)
