Rally Chat Shell Island September

Not having been to Shell Island previously and looking forward to it very much

If it,s not a rally but just a happens to be in the same place at the same time thingy
Is there going to be enough room for us all, and do they know that screaming hordes of funsters are about to descend upon them ?

We were there this weekend a rally of mhs
parked by club house with flag ( don't know who they were But they all had gennies going we were in the nxt field.
 
Having met a few of you at Chester,( the motorhome cake!), and hopefully again at the three counties,I will try my best to come,but,if not a rally and the place being so huge,how will I find you all?
 
Hopefully, , someone will fly the FUN flag :-)

We could possibly arrive on 3rd Sept, after a few nights at Aberaeron; anyone else getting there on the 3rd ??
Is it normal for the Funsters to park together, or are we sort of spread out all over the site ?
It'll be our first time at Shell, so just need to know the ropes.
 
when you go in turn left then about 1/4 mile. any where by the stones. it will make sence when you are there. if all goes well i will be there already.

We will be on Shell Island on the last week of August.. sorry we can't stay for your birthday, we have to be home for Charlotte coming back from annual Cadet camp on the 28th

anyone else there that week ?

Enjoy Jim its a lovely island. We dont arrive untill the children go back to school when its much quieter lol

Maybe a change of plans..

just checked the site prices in Aug, £18.50 per night, (2 adult + 2 dogs )
so for three nights, (minimum allowed in Aug) it will cost us £55.50 ..

Lovely looking site, but IMO too expensive .. will be looking elsewhere.. CLs and or Britstops.
 
one of my favourite places ,love it on shell, can I bring my guitar??
