Just curious, did the overfill warning came back or has settled down?
The garage took 1 litre out, which brought the level to just over 50%. I then added 100ml and the gauge never moved. Adding another 150ml it suddenly jumped to the top level marker and I since have driven 1000 miles with no repeat of the overfill warning.
It must have been overfilled during the service as I still have ā€¢75 ltr in a bottle in the van for future top ups .

Just out of curiosity, the tube you put down the dipstick tube must be VERY narrow and for this reason, must be hard work.
Have you actually tried using it on your Ducato? šŸ¤”
It is a narrow tube, but it does have good pump suction. I've not tried it on the Ducato as it does not have a dip stick tube at all šŸ˜„

I have the display permanently displaying oil temperature, rather than oil level.
