Select Motorhomes Ltd

Good luck with your new venture. I know how you feel going on your own but, in the end, nothing (work related) is better than working for yourself.
Edit: And I prefer the grey. 😉
Couldn’t agree more. I struck out on my own (with wife’s support) 15 years ago, after ceasing business at the start of last month, my only regret was not doing 10 years sooner.

High contrast is the way to go. Subtle colours blend together and are not memorable

If you go the old route of dealer stickers for extra advertising high contrast is cheaper to print and can be read from a distance

Showroom is nearly done! First van arrives tomorrow!

Congratulations - I'm local and bought my previous car from the prior dealership at that site... as others have said will have good footfall and easy access for those travelling from further afield, and LPG for sale just at the end of the road too!

I'd been meaning to come over to AK at some point having seen the reputation they've gained since you've been there, and your comments on here... whilst we're not in the market for changing the van any time soon I'll be very interested as and when you open up a service dept!

WESTY66 You haven't said your coming down yet!
I always have time for Val!

Just need to sort out the outside signage. Just left Trago and still showing previous company signage accross the front!
That's all coming next week! You should have popped in for a Coffee!

Very kind. Maybe next time we pop down. If you get the response '2 coffees no sugar' to 'can I help you Sir/Madam' that could well be us! (y)

Hi Simon
Good luck with your new venture im'e sure you will make it a great success. Of course when you do every Tom Dick Harry and his Dad will say look at that Simon Select he's Lucky (well not your dad)
What I say is you make your own.

Loving the pic's of the refurb, looking good.

I used to do a lot of work for Don Amott's and he has always been known as the king of Caravans, had a great jingle and advertised on radio and TV

I wonder if the Funsters could come up with a strap line for you or even a jingle :giggle: You could offer a prize for the best 🍻

My son lives about 45miles away from your new place so next time we are down will pop in.

Cheers Colin

As above sums it up for me 👍

Although I did here that eddievanbitz was very lucky, just ask a couple of certain funsters on here 😉😂

I am VERY lucky, I met my Wife and we have four Son’s who we love very much and are extremely proud of.

Nothing else really matters to be honest 👍🏻

Congratulations on your new venture, hope it goes really well. Hopefully we shall get the opportunity to have a browse around one day when down that way, will be checking online for the right van with the right layout 🤞
