Im gonna ring onTues about kayaking for Sat. So you have till Mon 10pm to reply your wanting to do it

Weather is clearing up and looks to be a dry weekend in Auchtermuchty, there are still a few places left for those who are free this weekend.

If you haven't confirmed with Ken by e mail at ksclink@gmail.com. please would you do so.

I know circumstances can change and it may be you might not be able to make it, or you have difficulty finding the place, though it is easy enough to find if you follow the directions on the website please e mail me or phone me on 07547137205 so we don't wait up all night for you.

It might be helpful if you could let me know what day you intend arriving and whether it will be morning or afternoon.

This meet is self programming, Sue and I have organised the venue and thanks to the help of some volunteers we intend having a bring your own BBQ for Friday evening, a ceilidh for Saturday evening in Auchtermuchty (£3 per person) and bacon rolls for breakfast on Sunday morning (£1 per person per roll).

Saturday some folk are going off to Lochore Meadows to do some Kayaking, if you want to go please contact Sandra @irnbru.
For those left behind and who don't want to go for a walk, Sue is organising a selection of board games in the barn, and if the weather is good boules is fun.

It's your meet so come and join in and have fun is the only order of the day.

I'll be there Friday but no idea of time as yet, can't dance so will probably miss the ceilidh, I've never tried kayaking...might be fun to watch but may just opt for the walk.
Bacon rolls.... who can resist :)

Will be my first meet... Looking forward to meeting you all

Just go along and be part of the crowd, but be careful Sandra has been known to charge people £1 for watching her dance or Kayaking.

Thanks Norman, just was wondering about the kayaking, if they were bringing their own but your reply answers that.

I was looking forward to catching up with them too.

@Someday might make an appearance but can't confirm til last minute due to work commitments.

If there's space in transport I wouldn't mind coming to watch the kayaking I'd quire like a go but I'm not the strongest swimmer so not sure it's a good idea lol
I'm taking my car to the meet, I don't think Sue is keen on going to Lochore Meadows which is why she suggested board games for those who are "left behind" I need to get rolls for Sunday morning so will be taking my car, glad to take you. I think life jackets are mandatory and the beach down to the lake shallows like the seaside so is not very deep, you can stand up in it so I think there is every opportunity for novices.
By the way if there are any golfers coming I would gladly take my clubs and sign you on as guests at Lorchore Meadows golf course.

Martin is going to a meeting tomorrow and will ask if there will be a bonfire this year, you know you are welcome here in any case :)

Wish we could've been there as we live near Lochore Meadows (The Meedies) but we leave Thursday to go down to Eddies. Really looking forward to the next meeting so we can get to know you all.
