Talking to an obviously well off Moroccan yesterday evening, used to work in UK in a professional capacity, moved back because he loves his country, had a discussion about how well Morocco was doing, how beautiful it is etc etc, finished talking and he walked over to the wall and dropped his empty beer can over it. You look at the back of the beach and its a mess of broken bottles and rubbish. :(

Visters (tourists) don’t help either I’ve seen plenty just leaving their rubbish bags by the side of the road and at park ups, letting their dogs 💩 all over the place, I was watching the surfers yesterday and a western couple walking their two large dogs and one had a crap and he went through the motions of getting a bag out but a little wave came up close so they just stood there looking around and walked on I shouted but they just ignored me, there were very little kids playing around the area… but of course EVERY dog owner picks up….😒

There are plenty of people swimming in there, Cintia for one so can’t be super cold but probably too cold for me but I didn’t feel the water…🥶

The surfers are in there for a long time. Ive had a splash jn the shallows and its borderline swimmable for me, I was going to man up and go for it yesterday afternoon but then I got talking.........
 
Stopped off overnight at one of my favourites in Maroc the wonderful Les Tajines Bleus, been coming here for years and the fantastic host Hassan has to be one of the nicest guys you're ever likely to meet, the food is always delicious, authentic & in my opinion the best tagines you'll get anywhere, his breakfasts are also 1st class as we're about to find out again shortly 😋

Hottest it’s been since we left England, had a quick coke in the cafe as it was burning my left side, the sun was hotter then a full summers day in Cornwall… now in the shade in the van with blinds shut skylights open and maxxfan on …🥵🥵

Had a little walk around the medina thankfully most is in the shade and it was very quiet with a fair few shops closed.
Some beautiful jewellery in the silver shops and some lovely Moroccan gowns all glitzed up that Cintia likes but she’s a good girl and knows I can’t afford some of these prices…🤗

Bought some little pastries but eaten them before I took pictures…😆 and what looked like lemon cake but it doesn’t really taste of anything, just a bit of sponge I guess, all for €2.

No Wi-Fi here so pictures are limited…😌

Ive been in the sea today at Taghazhout. It's chilly but doable.
