No we haven’t been there yet but there’s still plenty of time. Not sure if you've been to Sidi Kaouki
It's another favourite of mine, there's F all in it really but it has a great chilled vibe and a couple of decent cheap restaurants View attachment 1009958View attachment 1009959
Nothing poxy about that hill!!!
Respect!
How do you know for sure who the official guardians are?Had to laugh there, a boy in a yellow vest just tapped the window of the van asking for the guardian fee but he's not the guardian!whom we've all already paid about 2 hours ago, but this boy is pissed, 3 sheets to the wind bouncing off the walls, I just laughed and gave him a tin of beer and he's away as happy as Larry lol, the French and the Germans are all out scowling at him, I thought it was hilarious as I've probably been there and done similar myself back in my wild days

They are usually about all day and collect around tea time or collect when you 1st arrive but this boy just arrived from an all day session from somewhere by the looks of him and saw all the motorhomes and thought I'll chance my arm here for a few more quid to keep going lolHow do you know for sure who the official guardians are?![]()

As a child we would actively hunt out bottles to take back to redeem, if you found a soda syphon you had hit the big time. I cannot see youngsters today thinking it is worth their time.Yes it's odd alright Jon, it seems to me like a mindset thing as in "well it's already litter strewn so my wee bit won't make much odds" I watched some young lads a few nights ago eating a couple of bars of chocolate, and they were nice well mannered young lads seemed well educated asking us about Ireland etc but when they left us they just casually dropped the chocolate wrappers on the ground, without even thinking about it, having said that the UK & Ireland had a big problem with litter & dumping 20/30 years back until they brought in fines & legislation etc.. obviously not to the same scale as here, I think it needs education but also incentives might help like the bag charges in UK and cash back for recycling glass & plastic bottles etc, it wouldn't completely alleviate the problem but may well help it, and also I think some visitors start thinking the same way as I have watched lots of French & German motorhomes driving off with their grey water flowing freely from their tanks and I know the French in particular go ballistic back in France if you even look like your going to spill anything never mind let your grey tank flow freely up the road!

So it's like 'it's already a shithole so who cares' type of attitude which definitely doesn't help
Well who knew![]()
