And CaptainPaul i pushed up that poxy hill today..🥵🥵🥵
No way mate 😒
That's a ball breaker that F-ing hill! Lol
One of the reasons I ditched my wee Gibraltar E.scooter and bought my new bad boy, it could bring both of us up that hill! 🤣

Not sure if you've been to Sidi Kaouki
It's another favourite of mine, there's F all in it really but it has a great chilled vibe and a couple of decent cheap restaurants View attachment 1009958View attachment 1009959
No we haven’t been there yet but there’s still plenty of time.
Moved on from Tafraout this morning …. We just weren’t feeling the love 🤷‍♀️
Heading back to the coast via Taroudant and Agadir.

Been to Tafraoute a few times including during the Almond festival and its a nice enough wee town and the surrounding scenery is great but I wouldn't stay too long really unless I was getting work done to the van, to be honest I only spend 2 or 3 nights in most places as I like to travel about the place

Had to laugh there, a boy in a yellow vest just tapped the window of the van asking for the guardian fee but he's not the guardian! 🤣 whom we've all already paid about 2 hours ago, but this boy is pissed, 3 sheets to the wind bouncing off the walls, I just laughed and gave him a tin of beer and he's away as happy as Larry lol, the French and the Germans are all out scowling at him, I thought it was hilarious as I've probably been there and done similar myself back in my wild days 🤣

How do you know for sure who the official guardians are?🤷‍♂️

They are usually about all day and collect around tea time or collect when you 1st arrive but this boy just arrived from an all day session from somewhere by the looks of him and saw all the motorhomes and thought I'll chance my arm here for a few more quid to keep going lol
He may have got lucky, but points for being so enterprising 🤣

Wi-Fi went down today…😩

What did we ever do before…😱
Watch tv all night
Work all day
Have many children

I still say internet is the worst invention but I just can’t live without it…🤔
Although I thought that about TV until I watched less and less then eventuality haven’t watch it for around a year now…

Probably because in on the iPad all day…😆🤣

I love Morocco but I really don't get their attitude towards rubbish. We're on a car park above a lovely beach. Talking to an obviously well off Moroccan yesterday evening, used to work in UK in a professional capacity, moved back because he loves his country, had a discussion about how well Morocco was doing, how beautiful it is etc etc, finished talking and he walked over to the wall and dropped his empty beer can over it. You look at the back of the beach and its a mess of broken bottles and rubbish. :(

Yes it's odd alright Jon, it seems to me like a mindset thing as in "well it's already litter strewn so my wee bit won't make much odds" I watched some young lads a few nights ago eating a couple of bars of chocolate, and they were nice well mannered young lads seemed well educated asking us about Ireland etc but when they left us they just casually dropped the chocolate wrappers on the ground, without even thinking about it, having said that the UK & Ireland had a big problem with litter & dumping 20/30 years back until they brought in fines & legislation etc.. obviously not to the same scale as here, I think it needs education but also incentives might help like the bag charges in UK and cash back for recycling glass & plastic bottles etc, it wouldn't completely alleviate the problem but may well help it, and also I think some visitors start thinking the same way as I have watched lots of French & German motorhomes driving off with their grey water flowing freely from their tanks and I know the French in particular go ballistic back in France if you even look like your going to spill anything never mind let your grey tank flow freely up the road! So it's like 'it's already a shithole so who cares' type of attitude which definitely doesn't help

As a child we would actively hunt out bottles to take back to redeem, if you found a soda syphon you had hit the big time. I cannot see youngsters today thinking it is worth their time.

I've got quite a lot of plastic and cardboard in my garage because the bins at this guardian spot are allready overflowing. Hoping the bin men are going to turn up tomorrow because I know the next campsite just dump it in a ravine.
