Gary

Please take no notice of all the other replies saying what they think it is, they are obviously clueless

The educated answer and take this from a grammar school lad, is

Something to be AVOIDED at all costs and every man for himself 😱🤣

Beer in France is a complete rip off. If specifically asked they will provide a decent sized one but at an unbelievable price. Their normal tiny glasses aren't worth bothering with.
At least in Spain they know beer should be a pint or nearest metric equivalent followed by another one.

On my way to Roses and stopped for lunch…

I drove slowly and carefully so Cintia was at ease to take some pictures..😎☀️

Went to the garage sell diesel a €1.29, it’s not surprising as not many vehicles can get in there.. I had to do 6 point turn just to get in an isle beside a pump then had to leave as couldn’t open the doors to get out it was such a narrow squeeze, you have trouble filling a Mini there… I’ll get some later as I’ve just got under half a tank….

Rolled up and surprised Thomas, and Blu duly jumped out of the door of his van with my arm attached to her coller and nearly pulled my arm out of its socket, she’s a 🦖😆

Later went for a walk and to hopefully find a restaurant for our first proper dinner out and found a nice Italian job on the promenade that fitted the bill just up the road from the hotel that Langtoftlad stayed at so he’ll probably know it.
Cintia had seafood stuff and I had the risotto, a bottle of rosè, tiramisu for me and a Ferraro thing for Cintia..
It was all fab the the place was lovely…🍻

Just after Tam left this morning some bloke a few vans down, he has a large newish van with his wife (not English) decided he’s vans either too good or not good enough to 💩 in so does it where I’ve seen several dog walkers…🤷🏼‍♂️

Van wouldn’t start … engine battery show 11.6v battery master fitted in conjunction with my victron Orion xs. BM is showing a green light indicating all is good..🤔
Luckily tam is coming back with some jump leads.
There’s a motor shop not far and I’ll go there for some jump leads so I can jump from my gel leisures… then I’ll go park somewhere good to investigate…🤔 checked connections on engine battery and they are good. Battery is a premium exide just over a year old..

Don't jump start from the gels unless you want to bugger them.
Just connect a small cable across and leave for a couple of hours that will get enough charge to start the van.

Tam has a clamp meter check what current is going into the starter battery from the Batterymaster.

Is this advice specific to gels?

The Battery Master will normally show green when the hab battery is about .75 of a volt higher than the cab battery, so what is your hab battery voltage showing ?

I have this meter Lenny, which setting do I put it on . And do I clamp it on the b2b cable to see voltage?

B2B cable has the fuse..

Battery shows 12. 7v but when I turn ignition on it goes down to 11.6v and slowly creeps up but trying ignition just click and nothing else, whacked the stater but don’t think it’s jammed…

Set the switch to60A, make sure the display says DC, then put the clamp around the lead that goes from the starter battery to BM. You will probably need to zero for small currents.

Knackered battery I’m afraid, probably a cell gone down😡

I did that and put it on the big red lead that comes from the b2b which the BM is connected to.. it was 1.3v

Could it be the earth lead we’ve had 2 works vans do that 1 Fiat the other Peugeot both earth lead problems

I think Garry is really reading 1.3amps, well thats how I saw it, bless him.;)(y):giggle:
Gotta forgive the odd miss when he is under so much stress & pressure down there with a non starter, in the sun, eating out, the whole world to discover.
