Update ::: just spoken to the Greyhound and the field is NOT an option .Just asked about the car park ,she also says its a no. I dont know if you want me to call Stafford council about that car park .Or if you just want to meet at the Gin place on Sat morning. The weather forecast is that the weather improves Fri night sat morning

Thanks for the update John. I think we will stay put at Shrewsbury until Saturday morning and make our way to the gin place then.

Well that was a great weekend, Thankyou everyone for a really good time, I think everyone really enjoyed it, in the Beginning it looked like the weekend would be cancelled, heavy snow in the early Friday morning follow by a blizzard, but then started to be a lovely day and by time got to the pub, it had all cleared up, mind you it was not the pub we planned to stay the night, turned out for the best, for we stayed at a great little place called The Blythe Inn, Booth Lane, Kingstone, Uttoxeter ST18 0LT, they have five hard standing pitches with EHU cost £20.00

Saturday Gin day, we had a great time learning all about Gin and tasting different Gins , and making our own Gin, had a great lunch too, and also a meal in the evening with yet more Gin, the meals were all Mexican, they were very good meals too, then at the end of the night, we parked over night in their car park, the owners of this business ( Husband & Wife) are great hosts, they couldn't do enough for you, and Breakfast was great too.

Thanks to the all the Funsters who attended the weekend. At one point on the Thursday with the bad weather and the original pub campsite cancelling our booking we thought that was it. Fortunately we discovered an excellent replacement venue who really welcomed us and made the first night so enjoyable.
The Gin School crew exceeded expectations providing glorious food, an entertaining and educational course and gin till we could consume no more, with the added bonus of fabulous funster company.

Hope you all enjoy the gin you produced.

I've placed an order for some rum which I intend to pick up on the 5th April during my journey to the Easter rally. If anyone wants goods from the Gin School and have them delivered to the rally field, please go ahead and purchase, leaving a note on the order regarding delivery (during the checkout process). I will pick them up for you on that date. Please let me know by DM.

If the rally is cancelled for any reason, I will still pick them up, but we will have to conjure up a cunning plan for re-delivery.
