It's been well documented that Motorhomes do pump money into the local economies they visit, so is this council right or wrong

FROM £10pnThat’s interesting, I have just returned from a few days and nights in Walcott where there is a new Motorhome site called Nelson’s Patch which offers basic services for £10 per night, so no excuses for Motorhomers to abuse the locals drains.
Maybe maybe not, ‘wild campers’ do not pay for overnight stays, which means unlike a campsite no one local is employed. If a wild camper brings all thier provisions for a a weekend away again no one benefits.Easy to say that, but unless you can survey Motorhome owners extensively with the research methodology and peer reviewed approval to back it up, you have nothing to evidence. That in itself is an expensive and difficult task just gathering the data and what improvements it makes is difficult at best.
My experience of local Councillors is not a positive one. Pandering to the vocal minority at the expense of the majority. Again the wedge issues that garner votes rather than working for the vested interest of the most.
Saying that Motorhomes don’t contribute to the local economy is farcical, we all know they do, we own them.

Overall it’s not Motorhomes who contribute massively to the local economy other forms of tourism contribute far more.
Tourism as a whole does benefit an area which is why Airbnb is such a success and why people by rental properties I would suggest a MoHo only contribute a fraction to a local economy that other forms of Tourism brings to an area.
Does anyone know what the bendy lines mean? I've Googled it but can't find an explanation for them. And now, to go with the bendy lines we have a circle.....just wonder what they're smoking in the road traffic dept.
Nice to see how North Somerset Council p*ss their money away.
They are all the same. A customers daughter is one of the traffic planning people for council/gov and she is a young, massively fat girl, who struggles to walk and doesn’t drive. Sounds like the perfect person to plan traffic. And now, to go with the bendy lines we have a circle.....just wonder what they're smoking in the road traffic dept.
