Donned correctly and seals against the skin, but also have to say a mask even if not properly fitted will reduce the incidence of infection. There are no guarantees people won't get infected but taking reasonable steps reduces the odds

You are not wrong in that “when donned correctly” . However, most are not. Even in the workplace.

But when people start quoting the figures and percentages of how effective these respirators are, then it is also correct to say that this is only true when worn correctly. Otherwise the specific figures being quoted are not truly accurate.

Its like the N95 ones with the ear loops. In theory they as good as an FFP2 but In the real world they are not. And don’t even go there with KN 95’s.

It's entirely your choice , neither of us are dead, I haven't had covid at all and I've been living normally for a year.

They'll never ban anyone for not wearing a mask , not if they want to stay in business

Nuffield hospitals have gone back to wearing masks, My wife Chris sees 30 odd patients a day in her clinics after 2 1/2 yrs she tested positive for covid, we carried on at home as normal and I never caught it.
So it shows that some people are unaffected and others are very susceptible.
Strange how we don't hear about anyone catching Influenza.

Lucky you. We went to a local Music Festival last Sunday. Both of us have now tested positive for Covid. Yesterday I was very unwell.
