Have just posted about this on the Lymington Rally thread https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...f-wight-more-rally-august-2018.161595/page-37 as some might want to do this one on the way down as @Stagman mentioned or maybe those going to Retrofestival Newbury. Hope it helps would be good to get this one going & maybe make it a bumper year for rallies & meets?!

Could I just add unfortunately it's not on our routes this year, but for anyone attending it's so easy to Marshall a small meet arrange with @poki to come the day before the rally get a lay of the field to park funsters up, have a look at Jims Marshall thread. There is no need to do more than this and the rally will just evolve. It's got to be worth a go small rallies always turn out to be friendly spontaneous and fun.

For this rally to go ahead it will need a marshal to run it as @poki cannot run it as it's on his land So Come of on Funsters it's not that difficult to run a rally why not have ago. There looks like there has been a lot of interest on this thread. As some of you now due to health reasons Bill and I cannot offer our services but I'm sure some of you are itching to have a go x

Sadly already attending another event that weekend, otherwise I'd offer. Another time maybe - possibly timed to coincide with an event at The Shuttleworth Collection.

If it does go ahead over the proposed weekend, there is a Family Airshow on Sun 5th.

Have now finshed installing the 2 water points and Elsan point all finished now, as you can see we have put the fresh water taps higher for ease of use for people with disabilities.....We still have no Marshal although we have people who want to attend this meet ..As this will be a smallish meet from the looks of it there won't be many M.H to Marshal and they can have as much space as they like, this would be ideal for someone who would like to Marshal for the first time... If we don't get a marshal of some kind shortly then unfortunately it will have to be cancelled.

Wasn't sure rally would take place so Malc agreed to house/dog sit for his daughter. Sorry we can't make it. Will definitely be visiting your place in the near future though, it sounds really nice.

im still planning my week mate I can technically work sat & arrive Sunday, the meet ends Tuesday & we could find somewhere for Tuesday night & depart Wednesday.

Our next getaway will be 27-31 August & it is unplanned at the moment...... Mandys birthday 29th Aug
