Might be an idea to tie the rally in with one of Shuttleworths flying displays. Its not far away, just 5 miles.

August (27th) bank holiday clashes with the Pershore meet, which is a follow on from the Malvern show. The Shepton Mallet show is September 7th-9th

Sorry I didn't get back to you. I think you would need to make it a five night rally. Thursday 2nd till Tuesday 7th. Traffic reasons.
Do you have anywhere people could congregate, if by chance we have a drop of rain. Fun's event shelters would be spoken for I think.
We don't know the area at all but we are willing to help someone who has marshalled before.
Old mo. Very experienced rally organiser ., I think he has his own small erection as well.

If Beds is going to be invaded by Funsters, should I pack up and leave for the duration?

I think you should wait a week and see who shows interest. Most of the funsters I know book up rallies and shows early in the year. They use temporary holiday sites or Haven special offers to fill in the gaps en route.
I thought some of the new members would have shown some interest . I'm assuming this is a new venture for you. I wish you luck. If the rally takes place we shall attend. If not, assuming you are a five van site we will visit, looks a lovely place.

Yes you could fish it if you can get through the undergrowth, as we have not had chance yet to make any swims yet as we have been too busy this year..But there is a lake just the other side of the river 2 mins walk which you can fish that does day tickets for fishing..
