Just helping out a member friend....

Wanted Rally Organiser Marshal...

@poki Silvia and John have a field which they would like Motorhomefun members to use for a rally...

Bank holiday weekend in August either this year or next has been suggested and would like a member to organise and run it...

Any takers..??????

I think all new venues and area`s are always welcome, we are getting a huge popular club with members joining every week, so would be nice to have other new venues...

What`s on offer..... 2 fresh water points, 1 Elsan point 4 EHU`s... Dog walking area, Few Hard standings, Site alongside a River, Wide entry gates... and a good few acres....

Few photo`s below...

At the moment they need an organiser/Marshal, ideally would live near and know the area and what is to be seen and done locally..

Bit short notice for this year, but could be a superb meet for anyone who has not made alternative arrangements... and in a new to us area, which is always a bonus...

But firstly an Organiser & Marshall is required and would be an ideal opportunity for some one who has not organised a meet before...

Idea`s and thought`s please.... Silvia and John will be able to answer any questions on this thread.... or PM/Conversation them.. (y)

Thanks, Just helping out a member..

Available for rally any time from this July onwards ..be ideal for August bank holiday or early September to get away from the crowds in a peaceful country setting but still close to amenities, A five mins drive to Shuttleworth Collection and swiss gardens, Jordans old working Mill with Cafe/tea room , RSPB 8 miles,Woburn Abbey 14 miles..

Woburn Sands Garden center is another possible attraction but could be a tad expensive for some...;):)

Lol yes that is a friend who camped here for a few days back in May as they love it down here(y)
Most northerners love it down here but they would be the last to admit it..;)
The tree blossom in and around Woburn this year was spectacular, they stayed at a good time.(y)

Its near Shefford a small town less than 2 miles that has a Morrisons supermarket, indian and chinese take aways, chip shop pubs etc. We are situated just on the outskirts of Clifton village which has a indian restaurant, 2 pubs one serves sunday roasts and hot food, shop & P.O , butchers and a hairdresser approx 10 mins walk..Public footpath into shefford along side river `1.3 miles

If you can arrange a date to suit you all it could be sometime in September if you prefer this year, makes no difference to us..

At the moment I would say no because the council haven't cut it , I said that the footpath was 1.5 miles to Shefford but it isn't its actually 1.3 miles so even better
