So, my outlet is directly underneath the motorhome - straight drop. I have a hose with lugs that fit the outlet - what I then need is something to connect the end of that hose (or a shortened version of it) to the macerator pump in your link.

Basically yes. Very easy to sort, I have used my pump with 3 different motor homes all with different connectors on the vans so I just modify the connecting pipe or make a new one mostly.
