Rally POLLY AND DAVE'S (AUTUMN) MEET 30TH SEPTEMBER - 4TH OCTOBER 2021

This is the itinerary for our autumn rally we would appreciate donations for raffle prizes please

POLLY AND DAVE WELCOMES YOU TO THEIR 1st AUTUMN MEET

The hosts at the Rose and Crown are Dougie and Ian they will make you welcome as well as the staff

1. Most of you will arrive on Thursday.

2. Thursday night 20.00 hours is a chat and get together in the marquee or bar - so if you don’t know anyone, or you are newbies and your first rally etc. then do try and come along.

3. Friday night we will have a Quizz at a £1 pp in the bar or marquee and percentage of the money will go to a charity (air ambulance)

4. Saturday daytime if you would like to sell anything you are welcome to.

5. Saturday Night Dougie has provided a live band 60,70 for us so hope you will support him this will be in the marquee which will have heating (bring a blanket just in case) As the band is mostly 60’s how about following the theme and dressing up (optional)

YOU CAN ALSO HAVE BBQ’S AND FIRE PITS AS LONG AS THEY ARE OFF THE GROUND

PLEASE NOTE – YOU CAN DRINK ALL YOUR OWN DRINK ON TH RALLY FIELD BUT ONCE YOU LEAVE THE FIELD YOU MUST USE THE PUB.

The food is good value for money and main meals start from £6.95 Food served Lunch 12pm – 4pm and evening Sun –Thurs 4pm – 7pm Fri – Sat 8pm

There has been some improvements to the campsite they have a heated swimming pool and a hot tub so bring your costume. There are toilets, showers, elsan, fresh water, and more hardstanding and electric hook ups available. There is also Laundry facilities on site which Fun have exclusive use of the whole site.
If you would like to come earlier please let us know.


PS To all those Funsters who are currently at the Lincoln Show (and even those who wish they were here) can follow on to Polly and Dave Autumn Meet which is on Schedule Rallies Thursday 30th September for 4 nts.
The rally is at Dougies Caravan camping Holbeach Hurn Spalding.. If you would like to come earlier please let us know.
We only have ten places available on a non EHU pitch and the pitch fee for the 4 nts. is £44
 
Hi Dave & Polly unfortunately due to family commitments we are now unable to attend.
 
Elaine and I are quite likely to keep our socialising to the open air venues, rather than indoors. We're not a pair of anti-social old b*ggers, just very uneasy about COVID risks, so please don't prejudge the 'Miserable Sod of the Week' Award ... I'm perfectly capable of winning it in open competition! :LOL: (y)

Just a quick question. Can we pay for the rally (including extra nights before official rally days) by card or does it have to be cash? Thanks 😊

Hi just a few instructions you might find helpful as you come down the A17 look for lodge farm cafe turn at the side of it ( Hurn road) follow this round and it will bring you into Holbeach Hurn. As you approach the village your Sat nav will try and take you down low road DO NOT GO DOWN (it has a cross on the corner) CARRY STRAIGHT ON PASS THE CHURCH AND THEN THE PUB AND YOU WILL SEE MOTORHOMEFUN BANNER TURN RIGHT INTO THE CAMPSITE and we will see you there ONCE AGAIN DO NOT GO DOWN LOW ROAD
 
Hi Polly and Dave any chance of EHU as the gas bottle situation here in Norfolk is getting diabolical and we’re not sure if our bottle will last the duration of the meet. If yes what will be the new price please

Polly & Dave. I am afraid that we are not going to be able to make this meet. We are having our drive at home rebuilt and the builders are running late. Please let me know if we owe you anything for the late cancellation

We have extended our stay in abbey wood till next Friday as we are having a wonderful time in London. We will cover our commitment to the campsite and pay for the Thursday but we won’t get there till Friday lunchtime. Thanks.
