Payload Scam: Hymer now, who´s next?

Here's the scene. Picture a lion solicitor he's saying...

"Have you been told your motorhome has a 3.5t limit and it's fine for your to fill with you and yours".

Well call us " motorhome defense league".

We'll get you compensation for your pitiful payload.

Had your dealer lied? Have you been pulled by VOSA? Does your rear axle make love to the bump stops?

Well call us, we'll get you the compensation you deserve!

It is a struggle, I am stuck with 3.5, uplating is possible here but only to the Mfr weight, for me, thats 3650 kg, not worth the world of financial pain of a driving test and the need for a GoBox etc to gain 150kg .
We just have to be selective on what we take, we pack as if we are flying, 20kg and keep a eye on the weight, we have a weigh function on the levellers so no weighbridge trips, it´s bike or boat depending where we go.
Hi
Be interested to hear a bit more about weigh function on the leveller’s.

Thanks

Thankfully we can now load as much as we want, wherever we go and for how long we need.

It's very sad that some others cannot do that because of dealers and manufacturers not being honest.

It's and option the Al-Ko HY4 Levellers, you also get it with Goldsmichitt full 4C air.

As LennyHB said, It is an option on the AL-KO system (HY4), It is a few hundred euros more, but on an install costing 6-7k (€), it's negligible.
The AK system has 4 independent rams, so no pump and piping (the reason I went for it); there is a cabled remote in the cab (sits under the steering wheel); and an app that does the same thing and also has the weighing function. park on the flat, open the app, select weigh and it takes a few mins and you get the result. Then you put on your happy or depressed face 😊😕.

As an aside, AL-KO now do a light-weight carbon rams for PVCs and lighter vans; it was not on the market when I did mine or I would have had them.
