Paul Merton and Suki hitting the roads again.

Utter tripe.

Watch it to get a layout and look of the sites and that's my extent of the program.

Just checking because after reading this I'm not sure but you people do realise that there is a difference between the real world and telly
Some really strange comments on this one but seriously it's telly and they are trying to entertain people
It's not a educational program
If you don't like it then watch something else
It's so simple really
And I'm surprised some of you self proclaimed motorhome experts can't work that out

You will be telling me next that the Archers isn’t recorded on a farm and Mrs Browns Boys aren’t her real sons.
Dont burst my fluffy bubble, please.

Begone, Sire and leave me with my pure innocent thoughts.
You will be telling me next that the great explorer and icon plus personal friend of mine, Captain Pugwash, didn’t have a ship !

But the programme sponsors are southern based, as are the company supplying the motorhome holiday and motorhome.
Yes, the North is very nice and I do believe that in this series they do venture into the Pennines area of Derbyshire.
Personally I would not venture to Cornwall even if I was paid, not because I don’t like it ( I do and have been ) but for me it is just too far for how I wish to use my Motorhome, and at the time I would have to go, it would be horrendously busy.
I much prefer a quieter, less crowded, slower pace of motorhoming and quite like it in our “Northern” bubble 😂.
We like north, south east and west, there nice and interesting places ,and views, all over the Uk

Yet again sorry mate tv is not real life

CHANNEL 5 HIT THE ROAD WITH PAUL MERTON AND SUKI WEBSTER FOR MOTORHOMING ADVENTURE

Channel 5 has announced today it has greenlit ‘Motorhoming with Merton & Webster’ (wt). The 6 x 60’ series will be co-produced by Curve Media and Motion Content Group. Charlie Bunce will be serving as Exec Producer for Curve with Martin Oxley for Motion Content Group. The series was ordered by Commissioning Editor Kit Morey. The series will follow comic couple Paul Merton and Suki Webster as they immerse themselves completely in the incredible world of Motorhoming bringing the audience the ultimate A-Z guide to having an epic Great British Adventure, on four wheels. With a record jump in motorhome and campervan sales in 2020, Paul and Suki will be exploring all there is to know about this increasingly popular way of travelling by hitting the road in their very own motorhome. In each episode they’ll be driving through some of the most beautiful parts of Britain, discovering hidden treasures along the way and each night rocking up at a glorious Motorhoming hot spot to put on the brakes and put up their feet, in their home away from home on wheels. Brits remain the biggest buyers of Motorhomes in Europe and with so many available on the market, Paul and Suki will showcase and review the latest models, from top of the range, best buys and most popular. On their travels they’ll be taking in the sights, tasting local delicacies, meeting fellow Motorhoming enthusiasts and sharing with us a host of surprising caravanning hacks and secrets; including how to make your caravan warmer, which loo is the comfiest, how to choose the best spot in a caravan park AND how to park it, plus reviews of gadgets available that will change your travels forever, making your next trip unforgettable. Paul Merton and Suki Webster commented: "Having performed live comedy together for many years in an atmosphere of beautiful magical harmony we are thrilled to bring our insincere relationship to TV via Channel 5.” Commissioning Editor, Kit Morey added: “Paul is one of the nation’s best loved performers and I’m incredibly excited to welcome both him and Suki to Channel 5. As the country begins to open up and plan for their summer holidays, what better way to explore Britain than on four wheels with a SUPER comfy King-Sized bed in the back of your motor! This series will give a fascinating insight into a unique way to travel and I’m looking forward to seeing Paul bring his distinctive comedy and humour to the wonderful world of Motorhoming.”Charlie Bunce, Executive Producer, Curve Media added: “There cannot be a better way to close the lid on the last year than by hitting the road in a motorhome with Paul and Suki. It will be a chance to visit wonderful bits of Britain, and test out the very best campervanning super hacks and must have gadgets. Paul and Suki’s humour will be the perfect kickstart to the summer for Channel 5 viewers." The commission comes following the recent success of Definitely’ s (part of EndemolShineUK) ‘Million Pound Motorhomes’ which launched on 21st February 2021. The programme also ordered by Morey launched to an audience of 1.5 million and added 28% to its 8pm time slot. ‘Motorhoming with Merton & Webster’ (wt) will begin filming later on this year.

PLEASE, PLEASE Channel 5 STOP IT Don't do another series, leave it to the genuine motorhome users that care about the life and great times it produces, PLEASE.

I think you need to change your user name mate

On the contrary I am very unhappy that those who make these programs think we are all idiots and swallow their fantasy.
I sort of get what you are saying but there is fiction and non fiction but even with non fiction it’s still a story told by the story teller and only partly true as it’s told from their perspective’s

Think of the program from someone that knows bugger all about caravaning or motorhoming.

They could on the programs image and recommendations spend thousands and potentially loose out and then say well that Merton and his wife did it.

Naaaa sorry wrong image of the hobby to be a program even if some people think it’s a joke.

If they are going to do a series 3 do it right and promote the program and hobby in a positive light not a half arsed attempt.

Am I the only one who actually thinks Suki’s hot, I don’t know what she she’s in him, but each to their own I guess.
I think you have an unhealthy infatuation of a middle aged member of the opposite sex which is probably best to be kept to yourself ...................................... and very good taste (y)

Yes we do realise the difference, we said the same things after the first series and it's still crap!

Yes but I don’t want to see something that projects itself as factual when it plainly is made up. In this case they give the distinct impression they Motorhomes and use the Motorhome as one normally would when they is clearly not the case. Same with SCD. They still insist that the Sunday show is live and eveyone on the show goes along with it and it is plainly untrue. They take the views for fools. Reminds me of Putin telling the world that Russia is just defending itself against western aggression and that Russia do not bomb civilian targets. Bare faces Lies,

If it's promoted as being a documentary then it has a responsibility to be factual, truthful and not misleading.

...and it's apparently not.

Hopefully someone buys a van based on this programme's advice... and sues Ch5

I agree, although some are happy to go with the fantasy and I don't wish to spoil their happiness although regarding Putin he needs to go to purgatory along with all the other evil doers (but not fantasy TV) ;)
