No, but you need the phone and extra significant addition of bluetooth. I do not.

As you say, I am happy, if only because there is one less thing to go wrong.

So it sounds like we are both happy. Other people can make up their own minds.

With all due respect LostInSpace , you have made your opinion clear on what you prefer, which would be useful for someone seeking advice on a new install, but I am trying to resolve an issue with the victron kit that i have chosen/installed.

As such your comments are distracting and unhelpful given that I have declared the fact I wish to resolve the issue with kit i have purchased and do not desire to buy something else.
