Hope they are going a great job as I type.
 
Well 11am and the second fitter from Blackburn is back with instructions to "bob a bit of glue in and it will hold the glass in place" - nope, I want a proper job doing with the pane of glass bonded into the frame (so no breeze, no rattling glass and no rain leaking in).
So plan B is wait for the office in Bury to ring me to make an appointment to take our van in, as it's half a day of a job.
Why on earth would they expect me to accept a second rate job when their fitter smashed the glass in the first place? Or is it a case of I'm only a woman and I wouldn't know any better?
So waiting for a phone call now - still not holding my breath :rollingeyes:
 
Stick to your guns and make sure you get a proper job....... And I would let the insurance company know the run around you have been given.

One it is all sorted out I would send head office a copy of this thread and make them aware of the bad press and damage to their reputation. :)
