Last night we stayed at Playa de La Pobla de Farnals on a free aire. Gravel compound about 400m from marina and a row of restaurants/bars. nice spot. Tonight and for a few more we are at La Brisas aire in Peniscola. I hear that the local soft drink has phallic enhancing properties.

Looks good, we will bear them in mind when we are in that area (probably in about 3 weeks)
Currently trying to find somewhere favourable to head for in Caceres in a couple of days.

Today is Magacela.
Free parking
Free chemical waste disposal
Free grey waste disposal
Free water
Free Wi-Fi
AND
Free electricity at 16amps
Six spaces for up to 8m motorhomes and if full, there is a flat, waste ground area right next to it where you could probably fit another six of any size.
A very, very quiet area, we intend to attempt the climb up to the castle tomorrow morning when it’s cooler (21c at the moment).
There is a convenience store close by , along with a bakery. There are bars, Spa shop and pharmacy going up the hill en-route to the castle, (we will likely need to visit all three)! 🥵😬😗🍻😁👍

Walked up today starting at 9.30am
Absolutely stunning views from the top, and the town itself with very narrow streets perched on the hill was also really interesting.
Found two bars, one doing tapas, and the ‘Spar Express which sold all sorts of food and fresh bread plus hardware items.
By the time we came down the temperature was 23 degrees in the shade!
We took our time going up with a few stops, I found it relatively easy, Julie was ‘puffing’ all the way, so how hard it is depends on the individual.
A highly recommended stopover, both for the town and the aire facilities.

Valhondo, Calle lopo de vega. Co-ords. 39.4804 -6.3665. Just mind out for the bollards adjacent to the service point. They don't take prisoners.
