North Wales Trip

Wow, is it really? Their website is still up and running. Its the Morris Leisure one near the railway station at Betws y Coed.
If it's the Riverside at Betws-y-Coed, we've just booked two nights at the beginning of July.

Try to get to Abersoch. it's a long way out but a real hidden gem. 4 or 5 campsites to choose from within a couple of miles of the town.

Llangollen,Bala,Betws y Coed, Portmeirion, Porthmadog,Barmouth, Lleyn Peninsula,Trearddur Bay, Holyhead, Bangor, Caernarvon,Conwy then on to Cymru's answer to Benidorm... Rhyl.
Avoid Rhyl. I live just a few miles away and only go there if I have too.

Thanks steve69, a neighbour also spoke of Abersoch in glowing terms. We're going to be staying not too far away at Morfa Nefyn and will definitely take some time to visit 👍

Something to do if it rains (I know, it's Wales, so most unlikely to be wet... :) ) is go underground. There are slate and copper mines - Llechwedd is well worth a visit for slate, or Sygun for Copper. It's worth going at least to the slate one.

Sounds interesting mofurt, thank you. We'll be in that area for a while and will try to fit in a visit 👍

Remember and take your own shovel as they don't supply them!:whistle2:

That's a bit unreasonable of them 😳!!
Rumour says they got fed up with them getting pinched by motorhomers who use them to dig themselves out of muddy fields!:whistle2:
