Rally Norden Farm Meet, Corfe Castle, Dorset 13-20 May 2023

The dates have been adjusted slightly since first posting so that Funsters can follow on to the Warner's Newbury Show &/or the Topsham Rally & everyone who expressed an interest has been alerted. Booking for Norden Farm will open in November & if booked by the end of December we can all be together in the Pond Field again :hi5:

Norden Farm campsite https://nordenfarmcampsite.com/ is a well located campsite with a pleasant rural feel, excellent facilities & a good farm shop. Campers also have free use of the fishing pond 🎣 which was very popular this year. There are walks & cycle rides direct from the campsite including the Purbeck Way & to Corfe with its castle, shops, bakery, pubs & tea rooms. The bus stop outside the campsite entrance is handy to take the open top bus that goes to Swanage, Studland Bay & Sandbanks or take a trip on the nearby steam train. Interesting places to visit nearby with motorhome friendly parking are Monkey World & Bovington Tank Museum.

There will be nothing organised by us other than a warm welcome & friendly chats with fellow Funsters so a gentle introduction for anyone who isn't sure that meets & rallies might suit them. Everyone is of course welcome to arrange get togethers, walks etc & invite others to join if they wish.

Medium - campervan/motorhome up to 7m or small campervan/motorhome up to 5.5m with EHU, awning or Quest Shelter. tow car & no charge for dogs £20.50 plus £4 per adult per night.
Single person price £154.35 / two people price £179.55 for 7 nights after early booking discount.

Large - motorhome up to 8m with EHU, awning or Quest Shelter. tow car & no charge for dogs - £23.50 plus £4 per adult per night.
Single person price £173.25 / two people price £198.45 for 7 nights after early booking discount.

Extra Large - motorhomes 8.1m & more with EHU, awning or Quest Shelter. tow car & no charge for dogs - £26.50 plus £4 per adult per night.
Single person price £192.15 / two people price £217.35 for 7 nights after early booking discount.

Deposit of £30 (non-refundable) is required when booking with balance to be paid 7 days before arrival. Children (age 3-15) are £3.50 per night.

With the date change and me not knowing if I will be fortunate enough to ‘win’ the fastest finger first for the Topsham rally, I can’t work out if I book ten days rather than seven.

Do you know if the tariff/rate reverts to ‘full price’ for extra days booked above the seven?

Is there no option for a non electric?

Being a moderately large Motorhome, the price is at the upper end of the scale for us. 😇

Hi Harvey - if you add on extra nights to the Meet dates the 10% discount will also apply to them but do take your point about pricing for larger motorhomes which I have already fed back to the Campsite Manager as, unfortunately, it also deterred some possible bookings for the 2022 Meet earlier this year. Looking at the T&C it says "In mid- and high-season, non-electric pitches are available only to tents and camper vans (under 5.5m) due to our licence restrictions" so presume that a non EHU pitch isn't an option but maybe call the Campsite to double check if it means they may lose a 10 night booking?
Don't think Topsham was completely full this year as quite a lot of space overall so we are also hopeful of getting in again next year as it's a great spot (y)

The Pond Field is now over half full! :hi5: As there are more that posted their interest than places left plus this Meet is, of course, open to all Funsters thought I should alert all on the Interested List a second time before removing the List - please don't leave it too long to book if you do wish to be pitched with fellow Funsters but no worries if you have changed your plans & maybe see you in a field another time...

Can't manage to do the seven days unfortunately, which makes it a bit of a long journey for only four days on site. So regretfully will have of pull out of this one.

Hopefully next year when the grandchild is older.

We don't want hookup (small van and full onboard solar/power) and can't stay the 7 days - so just called them and they said the discount doesn't apply for less than 7 days, and without hookup we'd be put elsewhere anyway. So no point in prebooking 6mths in advance.

So we'll sort nearer the time and go alone if we're going lol.

Wonder why we call our van "The Black Sheep" :D

Hi - being under 5.5m you do have the benefit of the option of a cheaper non-electric pitch but as the Pond Field is all EHU you will be pitched elsewhere in the Campsite but you are, of course, welcome to come over & you can always arrange a gathering where you are too so long as it's not so many as to upset your neighbours!

The Pond Field is 3/4 full now! 🥳 Please can anyone who has booked but hasn't posted yet please let us know either by posting here (or PM if you prefer) to help those thinking of booking to know how many pitches are left & I'll update the list on the first post (y)
