Rally Norden Farm 2024 Campsite Meet - 9-16 May, Corfe Castle, Dorset

It's first come, first served for places in the scenic Pond Field during that booking period. If you might want to join us all then please post on this forum thread & I will alert everyone when booking opens. This discount will also be applied to any extra nights added to the Meet dates if booking by 31 December :)
Please note that any bookings that are less than 7 nights or made in 2024 will not qualify for the early booking discount.
The meet dates (arriving 9 May & departing on 16 May) should work well for those who wish to then go on to the Warner's Newbury Show & know that some will stay longer at the campsite too as there's so much to explore in that part of Dorset.
As gozomike kindly mentioned the timing is good for Swanage Diesel Gala again https://www.swanagerailway.co.uk/events/view/diesel-gala 🚂 :smiley:
The extensive facilities are excellent https://nordenfarmcampsite.com/campsite-facilities/ with the fishing, a well stocked farm shop, copious hot water in the clean showers & washing up area, the scenic location & footpaths plus a bus stop outside the campsite to Swanage & beyond, being just a few of the most popular features this year.
There will be nothing formally organised by us there, other than a friendly welcome & perhaps some impromptu, optional, evening gatherings for Funster chats, so a gentle introduction for anyone who isn't sure that meets & rallies might suit them. Everyone is of course welcome to arrange get togethers, walks etc & invite others to join if they wish.

UPDATE 30/10/23
The pitch prices for 2024 are the same as for this year - full price list & terms are here https://nordenfarmcampsite.com/campsite-tariff/ & are particularly good value for smaller motorhomes & solos. Once the Pond Field is full there may still be pitches in the other camping fields which are also lovely but as they are somewhat separate can lack the same day to day camaraderie of fellow Funsters nearby although all are welcome to come & say hello & join or arrange any gatherings :hi5:

The campsite prices are summarised below (as a guide only) with 10% early booking discount (ends 31 December) off booking price for Funsters for 7 night Meet 9-16 May 2024 - if you extend your stay in addition to these dates the discount should also apply to those extra nights.

Small - small campervan/motorhome up to 5.5m no awning, Quest shelter or tow car but includes EHU & no charge for dogs - £17.50 plus £4 per adult per night
Single person price £135.45 / two people price £160.65 for 7 nights after early booking discount.

Medium - campervan/motorhome up to 7m or small campervan/motorhome up to 5.5m with EHU, awning or Quest Shelter. tow car & no charge for dogs £20.50 plus £4 per adult per night.
Single person price £154.35 / two people price £179.55 for 7 nights after early booking discount.

Large - motorhome up to 8m with EHU, awning or Quest Shelter. tow car & no charge for dogs - £23.50 plus £4 per adult per night.
Single person price £173.25 / two people price £198.45 for 7 nights after early booking discount.

Extra Large - motorhomes 8.1m & more with EHU, awning or Quest Shelter. tow car & no charge for dogs - £26.50 plus £4 per adult per night.
Single person price £192.15 / two people price £217.35 for 7 nights after early booking discount.

Deposit of £30 (non-refundable) is required when booking with balance to be paid 7 days before arrival. Children (age 3-15) are £3.50 per night.

UPDATE: Although the 10% early booking discount & first dibs on a pitch in the Pond Field is now over it's still possible to book at their listed prices & if you let the campsite know that you would like to be pitched with fellow Funsters in the Pond Field if possible - it may not be possible but no harm in asking just in case!

Its in our diary but as we would not be there for the week wasn't worth booking. But if weather good we plan to turn up and blag it :)
 
UPDATE: Like many campsites with grass pitches this year, Norden Farm has delayed opening but having just checked with them there is currently no plan to move our Meet dates so let's all keep our fingers crossed for drier weather in Dorset for the next month 🤞

Last year we did have very good ground conditions (no mud or puddles!) after the Meet had to be moved forward by a few days so are confident that the Campsite will do their best again, for all concerned, this year.

Great news - the Campsite is open! It's lovely to hear that more are joining us - we are looking forward to seeing you all there! :hi::hi:
 
Hi Karen

Penny has an eye procedure that has just been delayed by a week! So we have adjusted our booking to 3 nights 13, 14 & 15 May leaving on the Thursday. The site seems to think we could still be on Pond Field but if that makes life difficult for those staying the full week we can of course move elsewhere on the site.

Here we have sun! Fingers crossed for more that week. David

Hi Karen Wombles , I have pm’ed you as we have sadly had to cancel due to John not being able to drive with a shoulder injury . We were really looking forward to meeting you all and then off to France . Gutted 😩😢

FAO everyone - Corfe Castle is national trust - and you can get a free voucher for NT sites which is valid for CC :) See https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/national-trust/

Its a same code for all people, so, ahem, don't of course, but you can get one online, edit the name, and print off.....

From MSE site - Update 9.32am Thursday 2 May: All 75,000 free e-tickets have now sold out. If you want to get the 'free' pass, you can still buy one of the papers below. If you pick up a physical copy of the Daily Star (95p), Daily Mirror or Daily Express (both £1.50) by Sunday 5 May, you'll find a free National Trust family pass printed as a voucher within the papers.
