With some makers only accounting within MIRO for one 6kg Calor Light, I'm interested to know how big the gas locker is. Even though payload issues might restrict you from using it.

So your locker is big enough for [2 x 13kg] or [1x 13kg + 1x 6kg] [2x 6kg] etc etc . Can you let me know..

Rapido V43. Locker can hold 1x13 kg gas bottle but we carry a Calor 6 kg and it's only for the gas hob. Holds enough propane to last us at least 5 years.

My 2012 Le Voyageur locker is big enough for two 11Kg Alugas, a puncture kit, and living accommodation for 15 illegal immigrants and their families.

2014 Elldis Majestic 115 2x6kg propane. Will not take larger bottles and tiny locker makes it very difficult when replacing/removing bottles. Looking at getting underslung tank next year.

2019 Globecar Campscout has locker big enough for 2 x 11kg Gaslow bottles.

Our 2013 version is the same - 2 x 11kg Flogas exchange bottles at the moment. 2 x 13kg Calor don't quite fit. They probably would if given the Minxy Girl lump hammer treatment, but that might cause problems when exchanging them. ?

P.S. Flogas may not have as many outlets as Calor, but I order on-line & they deliver to me.

Current 2x 6kg Calor, although I did try an (empty) Repsol (13kg?) to see if it had the headroom but cannot 100% sure it would take 2?. Maybe just plus one 6Kg?

Comes with a single gas locker advertised as been able to take one 13kg cylinder..as supplied that would have to be an exchange cylinder as as isn't equipped for refilling... (About as much use as a sore ass really..??)..
They must think you will always be close to an exchange point when you run out??
Weight saving is the reason quoted..and when asked about the logistics of running out they tell you to carry a spare cylinder in the garage...

Use a Repsol cylinder for trips to Spain and Calorgas for other trips. Also carried spare in the garage on a trip to Italy. Don’t know about legality of that though ?

Yes..to be any use and effective you need to change it to a refillable system imo.... It was one of my first jobs after fitting a reversing camera and roof ladder..
I chose to remove the gas locker and fit an underslung 44l gas tank and gauge ..
Carrying a spare cylinder in the garage may work for you but wasn't something I wanted to do..

2019 Autotrail imala 615 room for 1-13kg and 1-6kg. we carry 2-6kg so leaves a bit of room to carry a small barbecue or gas ring.

We’ve just taken delivery of an Imala 734 (2019) which states 1x13 and 1x6. I’ve measured the locker at 590mm, but a 13kg bottle is 580 tall which allowing for a lip on the locker is very tight. Is it really that tight or am I over stressing and it will be good?

As a comparison to Lenny HB we have the 2018 Hymer B678DL with side door locker and slide out cylinder rack currently have two 11KG Gasit cylinders comfortably, could get larger 14kg with a little work

Our Autosleeper Rienza takes two 6kg bottles. They are a bit of a knuckle basher to get in especially the back one. The door is big enough for one bottle so getting two in is a challenge.

Have you taken the sensor out of the gas valve to stop the alarm showing up on the panel all the time, I assume you don't intend using the gas bottle locker for gas bottles.
