Rally Newbury Motorhome Show

Apologies, but it looks like I won't be arriving before Saturday lunchtime. I have a good friend's funeral on Friday afternoon, and as I'm organising it I'd better attend!

Don't want to miss out on the show, so 2 nights are better than none.

Sorry to mess the marshals about and hopefully Warners won't be a problem.

How close is the showground to Newbury town centre? Is it walkable or is there a shuttle bus available?
 
Books, Books, We need your Books!!!

Could I ask all Funsters who are attending Newbury to please find some space in their van's for any unwanted paperback books for us to sell at the rally.

As usual, SWMBO (Mary) and I will be having a stall selling books on behalf of Prostate Cancer UK, a charity, very close to my heart, (If not another part of my anatomy???)

Last year, we raised quite a bit of Dosh so that this Killer disease can be brought under control.

If there is any interest we may run a Raffle to win a prized "Men United" T Shirt. @SwanseaJack has modelling rights having won one at Shrewsbury last year.

See you there, AND DON'T FORGET THE BOOKS.

These are the Newbury Ralliers who have filled our form to let the Marshals know when they are coming and if they need badges etc. Normally we need 100 attendees to to make supplying a marquee viable, but you'll be pleased to know that we have our own marquee at this event.

Were not sure what will happen in the marquee yet as we have logistical issues in as much as normally Siân tows a trailer with all the rally kit (my trailer has all the trade tea tent stuff and is at capacity) but Siân is going straight from the show to hospital in Oxford with Katie so she can't take a trailer with her so will be limited to what we can carry inside the Lanny.

However I'll make sure that we get all the cookers on board for Sunday breakfast, and as ever we have Funsters to the rescue Cheers guys.. Ray, @swanseajack13 is bring heating and lighting for the tent and Stuart @Silkcut1105 is bringing his pro Karaoke gear and his velvet tones. Couple this to the good weather we've booked, some a great entertainment laid on by warners and it looks like it's going to be a great weekend. '\
