had a good email reply from event developments saying that they have extended saturday check-in so we can now make it just got to book with them now.

its going to be our first funster meet so be gentle with us.

booked and paid today so please confirm me and debz on the list.
thinking its going to be a saturday afternoon arrival unless debz can swing us friday and saturday off work. (wishful thinking i know but we gotta try)
 
Unfortunately Suzy & I will not now be attending this show.

We will miss seeing all our friends but if you are going to Stratford show we WILL see you there as we WILL be marshalling this show as planned. :thumb:

I make it 59 vans now would of been the 60 if bryan and suzy were still comming.
So who do we report to now when pulling on funster parade? - will it be O.G.L. Jim

Well I know if we had the chance to still be in Spain or choose to go to Newark I know which i would choose....... we love being with the funsters but sometimes better climate and scenery wins hands down xx

Come on guys and girls this is great chance to get out in the van and meet some funsters and put faces to names. You are guaranteed a warm welcome, fun rallies are very relaxed affairs, its a great show with plenty stuff to stock up on before the season begins.

How to book:

Call Event Developments on 01775 723723 (during office hours) to book with a credit card (all major cards accepted). Don't forget to tell them your with Fun:thumb:

Does no-one find this a bit of a worry ?

I would guess this "I'm going for what I can get attitude" puts off loads of people from organising meets.

Now I know folk aren't going to drive a van hundreds of miles for a bacon buttie, no matter how good, but should it be a part of the "meet" deal ?

In this instance, I'm sure Jim would bring a whole herd of pigs just to stick up two fingers to The Dark Side "My gang is bigger and better than your gang". And he's right.
 
We don't normally do Bacon rolls at Newark, and with that many people going we'd need to start cooking Saturday night :Eeek: 70 vans equals 160 funsters and about 400 rashers and 200 rolls:Eeek: That will be the payload on the hymer gone:Smile:
