40 Snailtrailer

Adding snailtrailer to the list.

We now have 40 units.

I think this means we are now full.
I know we have enough hardstanding for about 25-30 vans and I know at least 15 Funsters that will be happy wherever they go.
The grass is good, laid on hard gravel anyway after all its a caravan site. The pitches are excellent.
Preference for the hard standing will be given to those with disability needs and I have places planned for the real heavy vans. This will not be a mud bath, :Eek!: please don't panic  but its great we can now get 40 funster vans on a new year party. If we could take more we would do.

We have entertainment, with the Great Barrie"ondo" accompanied by the wonderful Janine, a sort of "Peters and lee" tribute but with eyes and ukele :Rofl1:

We have a Tom Jones tribute with the great Welsh Wizzard the "Drunk Sherrif"
although I can't give a time for that we have to await the moment.

This is followed by James Jim ringleader Brown as the great "Bud Flanagan" (you might need to google him)

That looks like the entertainment list for new years eve.

Friday will be a "Mulled wine reception" and welcome
Saturday & Sunday will be chill nights and then
Monday will be Race day followed by Sparkling wine reception american supper followed by New years eve party time. :thumb:

jees wer'e going to be so busy, just glad that we have roped in Mrs Bungy and Mrs Edge to help out :Rofl1:

So I will now start a reserve list.
I then ask if for any reason you can not make the meet. Please be kind to those that can and let me know by PM please. That way we can give someone else a chance to come.

So so looking forward to entertaining you all. :thumb:

May I also remind people that the use of " Chinese lanterns" is strictly forbidden at Fun meets due to their danger and environmental concerns. Just a reminder as its new year when they seem to appear. cheers.

secondly - ill let you tell the respective Mrs, im not into pain:thumb:

Have we decided on the 60s 70s fancy dress? If so, I'd better get round the charity shops and buy an outfit. (It's a shame as I've only just got rid of my old gear)

We're going to, Jane!

Haggers - you forgot the karaoke! We've chosen songs just for you

Live and let tie ..............

My outfit's coming together now. I've just decided that I need a macrame belt to complete the look. I can remember spending my teenage years making everything imaginable out of macrame. Unfortunately my memory's gone and I'm sitting amongst a tangle of string.

Paul, such a long thread can't read it all. Do you want to know NOW that I want hook up?

:Rofl1:Oooops Just posted a thread about being blonde!!!!!

Confusing it with the other one... lol. Ta.

thanks Joy
you had me worried there.

There is emergency hook up arranged for disabled and the use of generators for emergency charging etc, Im lending my Genny to Jane, you will probably parked next to her and can share it. :thumb:

Just wondering if any one has a genny we could maybe borrow for the odd hour, we will bring a can of petrol. Last Year we hired one, but it was quite noisey and we only used if for a couple of hours in total.

So if any kind person would be willing to do this it would put my mind at rest, thanks Carol

Hi Carol i will take mine and you can borrow it any time. Hope ed is feeling better:Smile:

Not sure Rod, but I see no reason why not. Although we won't be able to use it on the race day daytim of course.

I think we may also be in need of some kind soul with a gennie while we are there. If it's sunny, that should help with our solar panel but I doubt it will be.

there will be no need for all to be running genny's non stop.

Most won't even need one, some may require a couple hours worth and as said previously we do have a couple of hook up points for the distressed ones.

I think the layout would be difficult to get a "genny free zone" but I know that I hope to avoid the need along with a good few others so don't worry too much, it will be quiet until Monday Night :Rofl1:
At the end of the day its only 4 nights, most will cope. :thumb:
