Sorry, Wombles. We'll have to withdraw, because our 2nd jab is due around 8th May and the local news suggests that there may be some slippage, in which case the inoculation date is likely to drop in the middle of the Rally dates!

Perhaps next year! As a former resident of Warsash, a wee holiday 'just up the road' would have been the perfect start to our motorhoming career, but hey ho!

FOODIE UPDATE: There will be some food stalls & a bar at the Show. Good & varied supplies (butchers, bakers, fish & chips, supermarket, cafes, tea rooms, restaurants & pubs) are available in both Brockenhurst (closest) & Lyndhurst for those that like to walk, take the bus or are bringing extra transport but if you aren't planning to get out & about then suggest coming with a full fridge & cupboards - long life milk & part baked bread are already on our packing list but sure we will be picking up treats too
BUSES: New Park bus stops are on the main road outside the Showground & the Bluestar 6 runs between Lymington & Southampton with short hops either way to Brockenhurst or Lyndhurst - see website for live up to date info. https://www.bluestarbus.co.uk/
BIKE HIRE: Trax delivers & collects bikes within the New Forest area with hire £15 per day for adults http://www.bikehirenewforest.co.uk/ or hire a bike from Cyclex based at Brockenhurst train station https://www.cyclex.co.uk/

Hiya. We have booked arriving Monday, However we are not sure if we will be in our current motorhome, or 'new to us' RV. All depends on if we manage to sell and when we collect.
Do you know if the RV area is more likely to be some kind of hardstanding (as at Shepton Show) or grass?

Have added you to the list The New Forest Show ground is all grass with gravel tracks & very few buildings so no concrete or tarmac areas. The ground is firm & drains well but just to be cautious the RVOC area is likely to be near to a track rather than in the middle of a field. Hope that helps & good luck with your selling & buying!
